historic Washington monument in nov22
classic infrastructure to have fun shots like touching the tip of the monument. if time and weather matches, you can even get an eclipse shot (in 3rd and 4th photos) with the sun shining behind and casting a shadow of the monument. simply beautiful and perfect. best to go during good weather - was perfect in nov2022 where skies were entirely blue and weather was windy, not too hot and not too cold.

Washington’s Capitol, Lincoln Memorial, and Washington Monument are on the same central axis. if you want to take a closer look at the three landmarks, at least half a day, plus a day of eating and drinking. Then look left and right, it is the White House, Kerry Park, National Art Museum, History Museum. The most memorable museum is the Museum of History, you can stay here for at least half a day. These points are very close, and most of them are free. It is recommended to stay in the vicinity of the White House, stay for two or three days, and feel the free and relaxed learning atmosphere.

Here in Washington, the Luray underground cave is so beautiful that it’s speechless.
🔺Shocking! Explore the largest cave in the eastern United States
❇️ Taking advantage of the US Fourth of July holiday, this time we came to Luray Caverns in Virginia, this breathtaking world of limestone caves!
1️⃣ Beautiful stalactites and stalagmites: stepping into the cave is like stepping into another magical dimension
The stalactites and stalagmites of Luray Caverns are of various shapes and colors. Each one is like a work of art carefully carved by nature😭
♦No matter how you capture it, it will be a beautiful work of art whenever you take a photo. But no matter how I shoot it, it’s still not as shocking as the one before my eyes.
*Like ice cream and poached eggs♠
2️⃣Mysterious underground concert hall: "The Great Stalacpipe Organ". This is not only the most spacious cave hall in the cave, but also the largest natural music instrument in the world. It seems to be a mysterious concert prepared by nature for us.冂. For those who are interested, it seems that weddings can be held here♻️
3️⃣Dreamy Mirror Lake: Not far from entering the cave, you will see a "Dream Lake" hidden here. The lake is crystal clear, and the reflections of stalactites sway in the water, like a dream. The first sight is both real and unreal, it’s one of my favorite attractions❤️🔥
4️⃣Profound historical heritage: Luray Caverns was discovered in 1878 and has witnessed more than a century of historical changes. The caves also retain the remains of early Aboriginal people, adding a bit of mystery and depth to this fantastic place🪄
5️⃣Intimate tour experience: Modern tour facilities, from guided trails to lighting systems to the warm visitor center, all provide great convenience for your exploration journey. The tour of the entire cave takes about 40 minutes to 1 hour, which is relaxing and fulfilling.
⚜️Luray Caverns is a masterpiece of nature and a witness to history. It has stunning natural beauty and unique historical value. It is a must-see for every travel enthusiast and nature explorer.
Recommendation index: 👑👑👑
🌞Tip: But remember, the ground inside the cave is slippery, so walk carefully🪄! The temperature inside the cave is also relatively low, so friends who are afraid of the cold remember to bring an extra coat 🧥, don’t let the cold affect your good mood! 💌
