It is the birthplace of the Naxi people and the birthplace of the Lijiang Mu chieftain. The ancient town retains its quaint style and is quiet and simple, more primitive than the ancient city. 🌟 Baisha Murals: The murals in Baisha Ancient Town are one of the iconic attractions here. These murals were painted from the early Ming Dynasty to the early Qing Dynasty, spanning more than 300 years. They are colorful, exquisitely designed, and full of a strong artistic atmosphere. Walking in the mural gallery, you feel like you are in a mysterious world of art. 🌟 Ancient town style: The streets of Baisha Ancient Town are simple and quaint, and many traditional buildings of the Naxi ethnic group are preserved. There are not many tourists here, only the Naxi courtyards of the locals, as if time has stopped here. The sacred mountain and settlement of the Naxi people in Yunnan, often shrouded in mist halfway up, with undulating mountain ranges, looks like a giant silver dragon from a distance, hence the name 'Jade Dragon Snow Mountain.' It is a must-visit attraction in Lijiang. Jade Dragon Snow Mountain is famous for its 'danger, strangeness, beauty, and elegance.' From the foot to the top, the vegetation transitions from subtropical, temperate, to frigid zones, not only rich in forest types but also the source of glaciers. There are nineteen glaciers under the Thirteen Peaks of Jade Dragon, which look like a waterfall hanging under the steep Fanzi slope, shining silver under the sunlight. The most famous among them is the Black and White Glacier, along with the vast meadow of Gan Haizi and the unique spring snow scenery. Entering the scenic area requires a climbing fee of 220 RMB, and additional fees for taking the electric car and cableway. A trip will cost around 500 RMB, but seeing the magnificent snow-capped mountains makes it all worth it.

📍Navigate to Baisha Naxi Tribe, 15 minutes from Baisha Ancient Town This Naxi Tribe ranch is a great place for photos, and it's very convenient to take a taxi there. Before going, I found a shop in the ancient town to rent clothes and braid my hair for a total of 80. I did my own makeup, and I don't recommend hiring a makeup artist. It's a bit of an assembly line, and the makeup is very heavy. I think natural is best.

Visit Jade Dragon Snow Mountain once in your life. This is a large scenic area with several scenic spots at the foot of the mountain. You can spend a whole day here and still not see everything. If you have time, we recommend spending a day and a half here. Enter the mountain early in the morning to see the magnificent sunrise over the mountain. However, the lakes in the scenic area at the foot of the mountain are not at their most beautiful due to insufficient sunlight. You can take many beautiful photos after the sun comes out. You need to queue for the cable car, which usually opens after noon. You can reserve half a day for climbing the mountain. It's not easy to climb the mountain, so you should take your time to enjoy the beauty of the snow mountain. Take a break and have a drink if you get tired. Impression Lijiang at the foot of the mountain is also worth seeing. It will give you a more systematic understanding of the ethnic culture and history of Lijiang.
