Xiamen|Five-Day Free Travel Guide, Explore the Egret Island in One Go
It is often said that Xiamen is a city that has lost its popularity as an internet-famous destination, but I can only say that you don't know how to enjoy it. This city is perfect for both exclusive quality experiences and internet-famous check-ins. A 3-5 day trip is just right.

📷Attraction Introduction
1⃣️The most recommended places are Jimei School Village, Lujiang Avenue, Gulangyu Island, Botanical Garden, and Shapowei. The first three are historical architectural complexes, artistic and retro, where you can glimpse the century-old history of Xiamen, very flavorful. The Botanical Garden and Shapowei are great for photo ops and check-ins, very nice.
2⃣️If you want to see the sea, Guanyin Mountain and Huangcuo Beach are better, facing the open sea with good beaches. The Ten-Mile Long Ladder is mostly mudflats, unbearable to look at after the tide recedes.
3⃣️You must visit Gulangyu Island, and you must stay there for a night. Gulangyu Island at night is quiet and beautiful. Remember to buy your ferry tickets in advance.

🏨Accommodation Recommendations
1⃣️There are many international hotels in Xiamen. For sea views, I recommend Conrad, Indigo, Shangri-La, and Hualuxe. For high-quality enjoyment, W Hotel, Waldorf Astoria, Andaz, and Seaview Resort.
2⃣️If you want to stay in a guesthouse, Zengcuo'an is relatively cheap, and there are some quality ones in Huangcuo and Gulangyu Island.

🍜Food Recommendations
1⃣️If you like the local vibe and authentic Xiamen snacks, you can go to the Eight Markets and Zhongshan Road area, where there are more stalls at night. Yuehua Satay Noodles, Jukou Mixed Noodles, and Ajijai are all highly recommended.
2⃣️Shapowei has many artistic dining places, and Zengcuo'an is a food street, similar to other food streets in China.
