Hotel Location The W Hotel is located in the Yunda Central Plaza near the Changsha Avenue subway station in the Yuhua District, adjacent to the St. Regis of the same brand. Although it's about a 20-minute subway ride from the city center, the subway is convenient, and there's a large shopping mall nearby, making it easy to meet basic needs like dining and entertainment. 💗Other tips: Convenient transportation, rich surrounding amenities, can meet daily needs. Check-in Experience I'm a Marriott Platinum member, and I was upgraded to a higher floor room upon check in and given a free late check-out. The hotel's interior has a unique nightclub vibe. I accidentally discovered that W's room cards have city names and got the urge to collect them. I mentioned it to the staff and they immediately asked which of the four colors I wanted; feeling a bit embarrassed, I chose grey and pink (really embarrassed to ask for the rest) and as soon as I got back to my room and sat down, they were delivered. Also, the bar let me bring in my own tea which was really friendly haha. This time, I chose to stay at the W Hotel for my trip to Changsha, which was my first time staying at their hotel. When I was booking the room, the hotel's customer service was exceptionally friendly and enthusiastic. They found out that I was in Changsha to celebrate a birthday with my friend, and they didn't inform me in advance. I was completely unaware. When I arrived at the hotel in the evening and entered the room after checking in, I was truly amazed and it was a huge surprise for both my friend and me. I didn't expect the hotel staff to go to such lengths to decorate the room and prepare a birthday cake. It was really heartwarming. Now let me talk about the room experience. Firstly, the room is very spacious, and the lighting is trendy and beautiful, just like a nightclub style, which I particularly like. I especially love the W bed, as well as the hotel's duvets and pillows. I'm someone who easily suffers from insomnia, but I slept incredibly well at their hotel, and they even provided a steam sleep mask, which was very thoughtful. I also like the hotel's toiletries, especially the scent of the shower gel. A long time ago, before the full promotion of environmental protection, their shower gel came in small bottles, and I would always take a lot home, haha.
