Address: Mỹ An, Thành phố Mỹ Tho, Tiền Giang This huge pagoda complex is usually part of the tour itinerary to Mekong Delta area. There are many Buddha statues here including Amitabha Buddha and Gautama Buddha. I love the main building structure which was built through the labour of craftmen recruited from the imperial city Huế. The central gate is made of steel while the side gates are made from concrete and looked like a fortress. The design of this temple is a mixture of Western and Asian culture as you can see from the way it was built. There are 18 arahants carved from wood dated back to 1907. Each statue is approximately 80 centimeters tall and 58 centimeters in width. The garden is beautiful and well-kept with many potted plants.
