At sunset, Villa d'Este is even more magnificent in the afterglow. The sunset spreads over the golden roof of the palace, making it glow warmly in the soft orange-red light. The Baroque garden in front of the palace and the symmetrical green corridors create a dreamlike atmosphere in the interplay of light and shadow. The fountain reflects the orange-purple sky, like a colorful oil painting, with slight ripples brought by the breeze.
