The Jiangnan style in March is all here. 3⃣️Yun Song Academy Located at the southeast gate of the Botanical Garden, it is Mr. Jin Yong's academy. With pavilions and cherry blossoms, it is quiet and very suitable for taking photos. 4⃣️Maojiabu Only after visiting the West Lake can you appreciate the beauty of the West Lake! This is the essence of the West Lake, with few people and quiet. Through this trip to Hangzhou, I deeply felt the unique charm and cultural heritage of this city. Every scenic spot and every street made me nostalgic for this city. First time in Hangzhou: The charming scenery of West Lake My trip to Hangzhou started from West Lake. The beauty of West Lake is far more than just the superficial scenery. My first impression of West Lake is tranquility and freshness. The lake water is as green as emerald, surrounded by mountains. There are several small boats floating on the lake. When the breeze blows, ripples appear on the lake surface, and the scenery is picturesque. Standing on the Broken Bridge and looking at the Leifeng Pagoda in the distance, the scenery of lakes and mountains is intertwined, like an ancient landscape painting, as if entering a poetic world. I chose to stroll around the lakeside attractions such as Huagang Fish Viewing and Liulangwenying. Huagangguanyu is famous for its refreshing garden landscape and tranquil lake. Fish are swimming in the pond, lotus leaves are lush and green, and everything is full of vitality and tranquility. Walking on the trail, the air is fresh and you feel like you are integrated into nature. Whether taking a leisurely stroll or sitting quietly by the lake, the scenery of West Lake makes me feel a kind of spiritual peace. What attracts me most on West Lake is "Three Pools Mirroring the Moon", one of the "Ten Scenic Spots of West Lake". I took a small boat and approached the island in the middle of the lake. I saw the three towers reflected on the water. When the water rippled, the reflections were slightly distorted, like the glow of the moon. The beauty of West Lake lies not only in its scenery, but also in the profound cultural heritage behind it. The legends, ancient poems, and even the sound of stringed instruments all add a sense of mystery to West Lake. Hangzhou: a blend of ancient charm and modernity Besides West Lake, Hangzhou has many interesting historical sites. What I particularly like is Lingyin Temple. Lingyin Temple is a Buddhist temple with a thousand-year history. It is backed by Feilai Peak and is surrounded by green trees and fresh air. Inside the temple, the incense is burning brightly and there is a constant stream of tourists and believers. When you enter the temple, the first thing that catches your eye is the ancient buildings and exquisite Buddha statues, which exude an atmosphere of solemnity and tranquility. Standing in the courtyard of the temple, I couldn’t help but close my eyes and listen to the sound of the wind blowing through the ancient stone carvings. My heart couldn’t help but become calm. In addition, the streets and alleys of Hangzhou are also quite charming, especially those cultural landscapes that combine modernity and tradition, such as Hefang Street and the Southern Song Imperial Street. In these places, you can not only taste authentic Hangzhou snacks, such as West Lake vinegar fish and Dongpo pork, but also appreciate the traditional Jiangnan architectural style. The small shops on the street, the ancient teahouses, and the leisurely river beside them all give people a sense of historical sedimentation. I walked for a long time in Hefang Street. Not only did I taste the delicious Hangzhou snacks, I also listened to a traditional Yue opera performance in an old teahouse and felt the profound cultural atmosphere of Hangzhou. Food and Shopping: Taste of Hangzhou I am intoxicated by the delicious food in Hangzhou. The first thing we have to mention is Hangzhou's Longjing tea. As the birthplace of Longjing tea, Hangzhou's Longjing tea has a special flavor. I tasted Longjing tea in a small teahouse next to the West Lake. The tea soup was fragrant, mellow and had a long aftertaste. This route is perfect for those who want to enjoy the beauty of Hangzhou in autumn. From Lushui Fuqu to Jiuyao Mountain, each scenic spot has its own unique autumn landscape. It is recommended to start at 7:20 in the morning, go to the Green Water Lotus Canal first, and take a wide-angle photo, taking less photos of the ground and more of the leaves. Then we went to Sui Lu, brought a telephoto lens, took pictures of the distant view of Yudai Bridge and Leifeng Pagoda, and then took a picture of the terrace. We arrived at Quyuan Fenghe at 8 o'clock, mainly taking pictures of the Tingliu, the bridge hole next to it, and the big maple tree. We arrived at Guozhuang at 8:30. The maple leaf king here looks beautiful no matter how you take pictures of it. We arrived at Huagang to watch fish at 9 o'clock. The maple leaves at Haoshangle and Binhu Promenade were in full bloom, but it is best to go to the bridge arch to take pictures after 3 pm because there will be too many people and it is not recommended. Arrive at Taizi Bay at 10 o'clock, and the classic big tree chair is right at Fanghuai Pavilion. Finally, we arrived at Jiuyao Mountain at 10:30, where we could take pictures of the beautiful scenery of Yuhe Bay and Leifeng Pagoda. If you want to appreciate each attraction, you can slow down appropriately. The best time to enjoy the maple leaves is this week!

Step into a world like an oil painting, feel the charm of the morning light of West Lake. 📍Come to West Lake Flower Harbor to watch fish, this beautiful place is waiting for your exploration. The morning sun is the most brilliant between 7-8 o'clock. At this time, the sun has just risen, and the golden light is sprinkled on the lake, making West Lake look like a poem and painting. The lake water under the morning light is sparkling, shining like a gem. The birds are singing happily on the branches by the lake, reflecting each other with the morning light, forming a moving picture. The lotus leaves in the lake look even greener in the morning light, and the dew shines in the sun, as beautiful as pearls. And the lotus flowers sway slightly in the morning light, exuding a fresh fragrance. The surrounding mountains are more beautiful in the morning light, with clouds and mists, like a poem and painting. And the small bridges and flowing water of the Flower Harbor watching fish add a bit of poetry, making people linger.

1 Taiziwan One of the mainstream West Lake scenic spots in Hangzhou, undoubtedly beautiful, but there are indeed many people, especially those taking pictures! It is recommended to arrive at 7 o'clock to appreciate the morning mist 🎫: Free P: Taiziwan West Gate Parking Lot (there are more parking spaces there) 2 Huagang Guanyu Because many scenic spots in Hangzhou can feed fish, so I didn't specifically go to the red fish pond. I quickly ate this glowing pancake when the traffic light was red. #Mainland China Attractions Huagangguanyu is a scenic spot featuring flowers, harbor and fish. One of the ten scenic spots of West Lake. Located on the west side of the southern section of Su Causeway. After the completion of the second phase of expansion in 1964, the area reached 20 hectares. The whole area is divided into five scenic spots: Red Fish Pond, Peony Pond, Flower Harbor, Large Lawn and Dense Forest. It faces Leifeng Pagoda and Jingci Temple across Su Causeway. The Red Fish Pond is located in the southern part of Yuanzhong and is the central area for sightseeing in this scenic area. The bank of the pond is naturally winding, with soil piled up in the middle of the pond to form an island and a curved bridge built over the pond. Leaning on the bridge railing and looking down, one can see thousands of golden-scaled red fish swimming in groups, splashing their wings and playing in the water. This is one of my favorite of the ten scenic spots of West Lake. Huagang Guanyu is one of the ten scenic spots at the West Lake. It is located on the west side of the south section of Sudi and features flowers, harbours and fish. After the second phase of the expansion project was started in 1964, the area expanded to cover 20 hectares. The park is divided into five scenic spots: Red Fish Pond, Peony Garden, Huagang, Large Lawn and Jungle Land. It is opposite Leifeng Pagoda and Jingci Temple. The red fish pond is located in the south of the centre of the park and is the central area for the whole park. The shores of the lake twists and turns and has a curved bridge over it. There are thousands of gold-streaked red fish that swim in this pond. 

My first visit to Hangzhou in May, Spring season. It really felt like stepping into a Chinese watercolor painting. Everything was gentle, poetic, and full of quiet charm even when its crowded. I had heard about the beauty of West Lake, but being there in person was something else. The city moves at its own rhythm, never rushing, always inviting you to slow down and take it all in. Each place I visited left a soft, lingering impression. Peaceful, thoughtful, and deeply connected to nature and history. 1. Yuefei Temple A peaceful stop with rich history. The grounds are beautifully maintained, with willows swaying gently and koi ponds adding to the calm atmosphere. It’s not too crowded, and walking through the halls felt like stepping into a different calm. 2. Hangzhou West Lake Scenic Area West Lake truly lives up to its poetic reputation. The entire area is just serene. Misty waters and stone bridges felt like a live painting. I strolled along Su Causeway during sunset and just stood there soaking in the stillness. It’s a place that makes you slow down without even trying. 3. Leifeng Pagoda A stunning spot to enjoy panoramic views of West Lake. The walk up was easy with escalators inside, and once you’re at the top, the view is so peaceful. Trees swaying, very zen. There’s a gentle stillness that makes it perfect for quiet reflection. Best time to go? Late afternoon, when the sky starts to turn gold. 4. West Lake Port Fish Garden Unexpectedly one of my favourite spots. It’s more than just fish pond but a whole garden experience. Mesmerizing to watch, especially surrounded by flowering trees and winding paths. I sat on a bench and just listened to the birds. So calming. Come early in the morning for a quiet stroll. 5. Jingci Temple Tucked at the foot of Nanping Hill, Jingci Temple offers a serene space for reflection, with soft chants in the background and the scent of incense in the air. The temple is less crowded than others, which makes it even more peaceful. The halls are understated but elegant, and the views from the temple grounds look out gently toward West Lake. It’s a place that feels spiritually grounding, even for someone just passing through. I left feeling lighter and quieter inside. 6. Lingyin Temple Lingyin Temple stood out as a true sanctuary. Nestled amidst lush hills and ancient trees, the temple exudes a quiet spiritual energy that immediately slows your pace and clears your mind. The intricate carvings and statues tell stories that date back centuries, and walking through its courtyards felt like stepping into history itself.
