●Afternoon: Go to Romantic Coast International Tourism Resort. The beach here is fine and the coastline is long. You can stroll along the beach and let the waves lap your feet, or you can rent a deck chair and enjoy sunbathing. There are many romantic check-in spots in the scenic area, such as the European-style wedding church and sea of flowers, which are very suitable for taking photos. Tourists who like water sports can also experience motorboats, banana boats and other activities (extra fee required) and feel the thrill of speeding on the sea.
●Evening: Enjoy dinner at a seaside restaurant on the romantic coast, admiring the beautiful sea view while tasting delicious seafood barbecue. After dinner, you can take a walk on the beach, listen to the sound of the waves, feel the sea breeze, or participate in a beach campfire party, singing and dancing with tourists from all over the world and having a happy time.
2️⃣Day 2: Vibrant Beach and Cultural Exploration
●Morning: Go to China's No. 1 Beach. The sand here is white, the slope is gentle and the sea water is clear. You can participate in beach volleyball, football and other sports and work up a sweat; you can also take a sightseeing electric car along the coastline and enjoy the beautiful sea view. On the beach, you can also see fishermen returning from the sea and experience the fun of fishing with a dragnet (the cost depends on the actual situation). The harvested seafood can be processed and tasted on the spot.
●Noon: Have dinner at a restaurant near the First Beach and try the local specialty Shuidong duck congee. The duck meat is tender, the porridge is silky, fragrant and delicious, and paired with a dish of fried noodles, it will greatly increase your appetite.
●Afternoon: Visit the Nanhai tourist island Tanka Market next to China’s No. 1 Beach. This is a concentrated display of Tanka culture, and the architectural style is full of Tanka characteristics. Take a stroll in the ancient street and admire the traditional handicrafts of the Tanka people, such as Tanka fishing net weavings, shell crafts, etc. You can also visit the Tanka Culture Museum to learn more about the Tanka people’s history, living customs, and production methods.
●Evening: Taste various special snacks in Danjia Market, such as fried Dianbai oysters, which are crispy on the outside and tender on the inside with delicious oyster meat; and fried rice cooked in a winnowing basket, topped with special sesame sauce, with a delicate taste. After dinner, you can watch folk performances in the Tanka Market, such as the Tanka Salty Water Song, and feel the unique charm of Tanka culture.
3️⃣Day 3: Climbing and returning
●Morning: Go to Yanjingling. Although the altitude of Yanjingling is not high, the climbing process is full of fun. Walking along the hiking trail, you will see green trees and beautiful scenery along the way. Climbing to the observation deck on the top of the mountain, you can overlook the entire Shuidong Bay. The azure blue sea, white sandy beaches, and well-arranged city buildings are all in sight. The view is extremely broad, making it a great spot for taking photos.
●Noon: Have dinner at a farmhouse near Yanjingling and taste local farm dishes, such as mud-baked chicken, which is tender and juicy with a unique earthy aroma; as well as seasonal garden vegetables, which are fresh and delicious.
●Afternoon: Pack your luggage, check out of the hotel, end your pleasant trip to Maoming Shuidong, and start your return journey.

1. External Transportation:
✈️Airplane: You can first arrive at Zhanjiang Wuchuan Airport, which is about 50 kilometers away from Maoming Shuidong. You can take the airport bus to Shuidong, or take a taxi, which takes about 1 hour.
🚄Train: You can take the train to Maoming Station or Maoming East Station. Maoming Station is closer to Shuidong. After exiting Maoming Station, you can take a bus, taxi or online car-hailing service to Shuidong. When traveling by bus, you need to pay attention to the routes and operating hours. A taxi will arrive in about 30 minutes.
🚗Internal transportation:
🚌Bus: There are bus routes connecting various scenic spots in Shuidong Town, but the interval between buses may be long. It is recommended to check the bus operating hours and routes before traveling.
🚖Taxi/Online ride-hailing: It is more convenient to travel, the price is relatively reasonable, and it is more cost-effective when traveling with multiple people.
🛺Shared electric vehicles: Shared electric vehicles are available in some areas. They are suitable for short-distance travel and are convenient and flexible, but you must remember to wear a helmet and obey traffic rules.
🏨Accommodation recommendation

There is a Chinese restaurant in the hotel offering a variety of food options. It is a certain distance from the city and major attractions, but the transportation is convenient and suitable for self-driving tourists.

1. Seafood: As a coastal town, Shuidong has seafood that cannot be missed. In addition to the blanched shrimp and steamed grouper mentioned above, there are also spicy crabs, which are plump and spicy; and pepper and salt mantis shrimps, which have a crispy shell and sweet meat.
