cozy spot
Nice wee cafe tucked away off wollongong street. First sip of my piccolo tasted like black forest cafe and my breakfast oko-nomi-yaka (cabbage & carrot fritters) was very tasty. Large portion sizes could easily be shared. Very hard working staff, and super friendly too. We had been intending to come here for ages but kept putting it off as the menu didn’t stand out a lot from other cafes.
We finally got there this weekend and wish we’d given it a go earlier. Food, service, value and unpretentious vibe made for one of the best brunches we’ve had in a long time. The food was fresh, balanced and showed the pride the staff put into their work. Highly recommended.

Laidback spot
Menu was limited but food and coffee were good. The baked eggs and sourdough toasts were tasty. Prices at the higher end and Wilson car park nearby adds to the bill. Friendly team and good food. Not listed below but I recommend the Apple Muesli if you’re looking for something healthy.
They were happy to put together some bacon and eggs. The Meredith Dairy chevre is a star. Personal preference would be a touch more salt in the chickpeas and to tone down the carrot cake icing sugar, but everything works well.

Busy cafe
Best coffee shop cuz staff are happy. It says a lot when staff are happy and efficient, sign of a great place, busy but happy. Aspen coffee (5.5$) has a note of dark cacao at the end, start is creamy, not acidic nor bitter, smooth.
Raspberry Candy also raspberry flavour at end (6$) (I can say I tried it), coffees from most Latin American countries.Haloumi chips are the best!! Their burgers are filling with great flavour, and their shakes are full of colour and taste. The Salmon was simply delicious with a perfectly cooked egg. Was worth the wait for a table!

Good food
Really good breakfast place. Lines can get long but the wait is worth it. The coffee is one of the best I've tasted, but there's only one size which is like a shot size with milk and not enough for the cost.
The French toast was great and just good. They said that it's crowded on the weekend. I visited on Monday morning, and no line up. It's just the parking lot that is difficult to get there. Other than that, you will enjoy the Cafe.

french inspired
I was quite curious upon seeing the coffee machine. The barista had all sorts of graphs on his machines, which resulted in a lovely cup of coffee. This was at the edge of the city center and looked cozy. The staff was friendly and the place was mostly visited by locals. Even the police visited during their coffee-break.
I tried filtered coffee for the first time, and it was outstanding—the flavour notes were smooth and subtle. Gürkan’s warm hospitality and passion for his craft made the experience even better. This coffee shop truly added a bright, memorable touch to my day.
