The front desk staff were kind and made me feel great from the start of my trip. The amenities on the first floor included toothbrushes and hair combs, which was appreciated. The berry-flavored detox water was also delicious and all-you-can-drink! There was a rare variety of teas, and on the first day there was honey tea, and on the second day there was blackcurrant tea! Both were delicious and recommended. The room was really clean and cleaned thoroughly. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. I couldn’t resist stopping for a quick photo (or ten) before dashing across with the crowd. It’s not just a crosswalk—it’s an experience, a must-see Tokyo moment that screams energy and excitement. First stop in Tokyo, I arrived in Asakusa and wanted to grab a bite, but didn't want to wait in line. Suddenly, I spotted an Ichiran Ramen across from Asakusa Tobu Station. It was located in the basement of a street-side building, and luckily, there was no line. I quickly ordered a basic tonkotsu ramen using the machine. After selecting the broth, noodle thickness, and saltiness, I handed the ticket to the staff and was seated. The interior was spacious, with both counter and table seating, giving off a typical Japanese ramen shop vibe. The ramen tasted similar to what you get in Taiwan, with a rich broth and chewy noodles. I finished it in no time. Ichiran's flavor is consistent no matter where you go, maintaining a high standard, though it lacks some uniqueness. During my stay at the Richmond Hotel Premier Tokyo Schole, I had the opportunity to visit 'Sizzler Oshiage' for a buffet breakfast. The restaurant features a warm orange color scheme, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. One of its biggest attractions, aside from the view of the Tokyo Skytree right outside the window, is the daily changing menu, including the chef's special desserts that vary every day! The breakfast is a buffet style, mainly offering Japanese and Western dishes. There are Japanese steamed, boiled, grilled, and pickled items, Western-style salads, and freshly made desserts like apple pie and pancakes. The variety is quite impressive, and the breakfast is filling enough to last until noon. For lunch and dinner, they offer a semi-buffet style, which includes a main dish plus a salad bar. I highly recommend the Japanese-Western style hamburger steak, which is very tender and juicy, and comes with four different sauces for a rich variety of flavors. The salad bar is even more abundant than at breakfast, featuring curry, soup, pasta, and more. You could easily fill up just from the salad bar. Sizzler Oshiage is located on the fifth floor of the hotel.
