[2025 Singapore Hotels] Travel Guide for Venue Hotel the Lily (Updated Jul)

Just opened above Somerset MRT is a Japanese fusion eatery named Ohayo Mama-san. This eatery is by the same people behind Takeshi-San in Holland Village. The menu consists mainly of fusion drinks and food. Food has interesting concept and definitely above average. However, it wasn't fantastic either. I didn't like the cocktail as much as I wanted to (its purple! my favourite colour afterall). It was overly sweet and has a syrup feel to it. I wonder if they forgot to add in any alcohol contain. They also have a very interesting and cheap afternoon tea set which I didn't get to try as it was evening when I went there. I will go back and try the afternoon tea set just because of the price point. #mustdo

The location of hotel was great. Best place for cafe hoping and also lots of choices for food. Nice neighbourhood and the surrounding environment was great

Had a great stay at Venue Lily, celebrated a birthday and just chilled in the room with some pizza from a nearby restaurant and some drinks. Staff were pleasant and there were a bunch of great food options around the area. Overall a nice experience, even for a more affordable hotel. Highly reccomended for shorter stays, might be cozy if staying for longer. Great!#Hotelreview
