The strange colors of milky way at sunset...
#Overseas travel #Bolivia #Uyuni
The true charm of Uyuni is revealed at sunset, when the sky and salt lake begin to change into strange colors... As the intense sunlight of the day subsides, the sky turns into soft pastel tones, and the lake reflects the colors as if it were a canvas. The colors, which range from pink to purple, are perfect for taking pictures. The light is soft and the shadows are long during this time, making it the perfect time to take silhouette or reflection photos. However, the strong UV rays still remain, so sunscreen and a hat are a must... Get your camera ready and capture the magical moment in the enchanting scenery. This is a time that you can only experience in Uyuni...
And be careful, it gets cold quickly after the sun sets..

Walking around Uyuni village..
#Overseas travel #Bolivia #Uyuni
If you walk slowly through the village of Uyuni, you can feel the desolation unique to the highlands, but you can feel the warmth within it. Women in traditional costumes give you a bright smile on the street, and you can enjoy cheap but delicious local food at the simple market.
The leisurely feeling of the village with a bite of a crispy empanada makes you forget the fatigue of the trip. The scenery along the stone road is simple but affectionate, and the endless sky seen between the rough buildings adds a special feeling. The kindness of the people you meet in the peace of this place is like a hidden gift of the Uyuni trip. It is a place where you can create unforgettable scenes anywhere just by taking out your camera, and it warms your heart.

Salt Hotel in the Salt Plains
In the heart of the Bolivian Salt Plains is Casa Del Sal which is a hotel made completely out of salt.
Every part of the building has salt built into it including the floors, tables and chairs. The salt doesn’t disintegrate easily so it doesn’t impact the visit and the bedrooms consist of different types. Because of the remote location, a driver would be needed to take you there from the airport in Uyuni

Uyuni Salt Flats!
I went there as a set to Machu Picchu because I wanted to see that mirrored scenery. As expected, it was a breathtaking view, and I was overwhelmed with emotion when I saw the mirrored scenery.
I went on a solo trip, but there were quite a few solo travelers. After arriving in Uyuni, I commuted to Uyuni every day on Hodaka Mountain. There were many solo travelers, so I don't think you need to worry about that. We ended up taking pictures of each other, and I inevitably became friends with the solo travelers. As expected, the magic hour at dusk or when the sun rose was overwhelmingly beautiful and impressive.
I want to see various scenery, so I generally don't revisit places, but Uyuni is one of the few places I want to revisit.
