That also means, Oxford is a perfect destination to do a day trip from London, instead of having to drag along some suitcases to a new hotel. That said, there is an unique accommodation option to stay in the university and wake up to have breakfast in the Great Hall featured in Harry Potter movies; so if you managed to get a slot (usually fully booked many months ahead), that’s a chance not to miss. Attraction-wise, I personally find Bodleian Library and Radcliffe Square most mesmerising, but really, the whole university town is not huge, but every corner is antique and could make an excellent photo spot. In terms of museums, most museum (if not all) are free-entry (but ticket might be needed), and natural history museum is my favourite.
