Kanchanaburi Province is the third largest province in the country, following Nakhon Ratchasima and Chiang Mai. Most of the area is covered by forests and high mountains, with two main rivers: the Kwai Yai River and the Kwai Noi River, which flow parallel and converge to form the Mae Klong River in Kanchanaburi city.
