The area we selected for accommodation this time was mainly around Dongdaegu Station and Daegu Station, with convenient transportation being the primary consideration. This property is conveniently located about a 10-minute walk from Dongdaegu Station. Right next to it is the well-known Marriott Hotel. The fact that the two basically share the same building also brings extra convenience - Marriott's facilities (such as the gym and swimming pool) can be used for an additional fee, which is a big plus! After entering the room, I was first surprised by its complete facilities. It covers a very large area and is divided into multiple areas: everything from fabrics, clothing to fresh agricultural products. The most attractive thing is the dazzling array of snack stalls and local specialties. I came here just to walk, shop and eat. When I got tired of shopping, I casually found a noodle street food stall that seemed to have a lot of customers. All I can say is that it is delicious! I visited Dodong Seowon during ginkgo season, aiming to arrive right at opening time, but it was already quite popular! While some trees at the back hadn’t fully changed color, next week (the second week of November) should be ideal for peak autumn colors. There’s a pavilion where you can usually see the river and ginkgo trees together, but it was unfortunately closed for safety reasons. I hope they restore and reopen it someday.
