Bicycles are recommended for sightseeing on Kohama Island☀️
The first photo is the manta ray statue at Kaito Park
The second and third photos are Daiku House, one of the few private lodgings on the island
The fourth and fifth photos are Cafe Yasinoki
The sixth photo is the island's only Maemoto Shoten
It can be used like a convenience store, but what I recommend is the fresh fish that is delivered directly from the fishing port and sold in packs☀️
The seventh photo is the island's only Obama Junior High School
Time flows slowly throughout the island, and it's a wonderful tourist spot that you should visit at least once if you want to relax☀️

Manta Rays Swimming on Land??
Kohama Island, accessible by ferry from Ishigaki Island
On Kohama Island, there is an observation deck with a manta ray sculpture!
This place is called 'Uminchu Park.'
You can climb this observation deck and get a panoramic view of Iriomote Island.
There is also a picturesque breakwater near the port that you can walk on.
When touring Kohama Island, rent a bicycle or a motorbike!
I rented a scooter to get around. 🛵
Be sure to visit this spot when you go to Kohama Island!
