Maybe because of the tiredness of the trip, the kids fell asleep before we could order lunch, so we couldn't take it home, so we bought food for the kids at Yumaru, an onigiri shop on the 4th floor! #Sakura2024 On the way back from the outlet mall during Golden Week, the roads were crowded and I got late, so I was looking for a place that was open around 10:30pm and found this place! [Asari Ramen Namiichi] on the 5th floor of Umihotaru 🍜 Honestly, I wasn't expecting much, but this was really delicious with the clam broth 😍👏🏻 It was full of seaweed and clams, and the soup was so delicious that I couldn't stop drinking it all 😆✨ Maybe I should have ordered a large portion? ! There is a rest area famous for Umihotaru (sea fireflies) in the middle of the Aqua Line Expressway connecting Tokyo and Chiba. Today, I took the Aqua Line from Tokyo Ueno to Chiba Kisarazu on the Metropolitan Expressway, and I could see Mt. Fuji, which is hard to see. The famous Japanese artist Hokusai, who is famous for his traditional Japanese painting “Ukiyo-e,” drew a similar Ukiyo-e in the sea off Kanagawa Prefecture, and it was refreshing to see it on the Aqua Line. I visit here several times a year, and it truly is an artificial island!! The Aqua Bridge and Aqua Tunnel connect Kawasaki to Kisarazu across Tokyo Bay, and you can also view the history of their construction. A life-size display of the drill used to open the tunnel is also on display, so it's a must-see!! The view from Umihotaru is truly beautiful. There are restaurants and souvenir shops inside, so you can also do some sightseeing here. It gets very crowded on weekends, so it's best to be careful about the time of day you go.
