Guests can stay until midnight and from 6am to 10am. Those who only use the bathhouse can use it from 3pm to 8pm. Even if you only use the bathhouse, it costs 600 yen for adults, including the sauna. Also to talk about the disadvantages, the hotel facilities are a bit strange 🤔️ For example, the shower room in the room can only be locked externally, not internally, be aware that the door is also transparent, otherwise the couple will be very embarrassed, and no indoor slippers are provided, but outdoor slippers are provided. The drink bar on the 2nd floor is said to be open from morning to 10pm, but it is often closed at noon. The environment is beautiful, but the facilities are a bit inconvenient.

#wecreate One of my favourite hotels in Kyoto and maybe even the whole of Japan, Umekoji Potel Kyoto is simply the perfect hotel. It is located in picturesque Umekoji Park, which also houses the Kyoto Aquarium and is just minutes away from the nearest JR station. The room is clean, modern and very spacious for a Japanese hotel. Service is top notch and the staff really put in an effort to make sure you feel welcomed. The hotel also has unique themed spaces on every floor such as a board games room, library, music room and even an area where you can ground your own coffee. Free flow alcoholic beverages, soft drinks and light snacks are also provided as you enjoy the different themed areas of the hotel. Breakfast is amazing, featuring mainly local Japanese cuisine as well as some western breakfast staples such as bacon and sausages. Will definitely stay here again if I return to Kyoto. Highly recommended!
