Uluwatu Temple is popular with tourists and locals.
The view during sunset was stunning. But the place was flooded with tourists. We stayed until night and we went shopping near the place where we get bags at good price.

Delpi Cafe
Amazing View at this OK cafe. Firstly, a quick note that the entrance to the cafe is from beach below. The location is incredible and I would recommend coming before sunset to take in the surfers. The beer was ice cold. The food and service was fairly medociore. We came to grab a bite to eat and use the infinity pool so was a bit annoying that it's a 250k charge to use the pool (we didn't bother) even though we were paying for drinks. I would still recommend coming for the location, it's an incredible spot.

Palmilla Bali Beach Club
The location is quite stunning. You need to pay an entrance fee to enter the beach complex - for anyone using that beach it was a few pounds . You need to pay entrance fee to the beach club - 100 000 idr by card or 150 000 cash. It was less for children. I think half price. There is a minimum spend for certain areas but tbh the free area was quite pleasent. The smoothie bowl was also nice. The infinity pool looked great and it was right by the beach. Overall pleasent. Although it was quite touristic and not one local to be seen. Overall, more in the pricier end but good value nonetheless

Should you visit Uluwatu, Bali?🇮🇩
📍Uluwatu, Bali
Uluwatu is characterised by the steep, white cliffs that line the coast. The beaches are plentiful and the ocean showcases humungous waves - perfect for surfing & perfect for wave watching at a cliff top bar.
After being on the small islands of Gili T & Nusa Lembongan for a week and a half, the accessibility of Uluwatu was definitely welcomed. There is an insane amount of good restaurants to choose from and grab is so easy to use, but Uluwatu is definitely not a walkable location due to the geography of the area (very hilly & mountainous).
If you fancy visiting somewhere in Bali with beautiful views, modern cafes & restaurants and awesome beaches - Uluwatu is the one!

🇮🇩Uluwatu Beach in Bali, Indonesia ⛱️
#beachcheck
I absolutely would say YES to beach holidays and Bali is a spot that always has a place in my heart. It was my first time to Bali and I made sure I include Uluwatu in my itinerary as I have heard how beautiful the beach is ! True enough, you really have to see it with your eyes. The water at Uluwatu Beach was crystal clear and the views from those cliffs was unbelievably amazing. It's such a vibe to see people just chilling by the beach, basking in the sun and enjoying the breeze.

CINDONESIA Bali Uluwatu Beach 🤩
#indonesiatrip
CINDONESIA Bali Uluwatu Beach E Travel Suggestion: It is the most convenient to rent a motorcycle color in Indonesia. We are a chartered driver. After we get off at the destination, we find that there is still a slope to walk to Nyang Nyang Beach. The walking time is about 15 minutes. Dad has a steep slope. The sun is hot, but the scenery along the way is beautiful. Worried about sunburn, sisters suggest that motorcycle will go out much faster. Nothing can be better than the sea. Travel Suggestion: 1. Sunscreen. The Indonesian sun is still very toxic. It must be sunscreen. The key is sunscreen. It is recommended to use water points for sunscreen, especially Bali volcanic oil+double Sister 2 of the trip, swimsuit, etc.+flip flops: Although Uluwatu Beach surfs more successfully, the wave height on one side is very high, but the sea surface on the other side is unusually calm. You can roam, endure and catch crabs. 3 Wave board: We only found out this is a world-renowned surfing destination when we went to see many great deities surfing. The wave height is measured at three meters or more, and those who come here to surf must pay attention to public safety. Happy project: Gliding parachutes take off from the mountaintop and go around the sea for a week. There are also crabs under the soles of the feet and the great deities waiting for surfing spirits in the depths of the beach. We saw life. C. When we went, people didn't like this kind of beach where there weren't many people, so we stared at the beautiful sea. The other side is very beautiful

Uluwatu Beach
#indonesiatrip To be honest all beaches in Uluwatu are giving me vibes of Nusa Penida but the Uluwatu Beach was the most similar to them by far. You have a long distance walk downstairs to get to the beach but views are just amazing. From the top you can see beautiful cliffs of Uluwatu covered by green in association with beautiful ocean. Place is just perfect for watching sunsets - I think the best on whole island. On the cliffs there are plenty of bars cafes and restaurants when you can drink eat and watch the sunset. Highly recommended place on your trip to Uluwatu

Uluwatu, Bali, Indonesia
Uluwatu Temple, also known as Pura Luhur Uluwatu, is a spectacular sea temple located on the southern coast of Bali, Indonesia. Perched on a steep cliff about 70 meters above the Indian Ocean, the temple is not only a significant religious site but also a popular tourist destination known for its breathtaking views and mesmerizing sunsets.
The temple is one of the six key temples believed to be Bali's spiritual pillars, and it is dedicated to the spirits of the sea. According to Balinese Hindu belief, Uluwatu Temple is said to guard Bali from evil sea spirits and is one of the island's nine directional temples that are meant to protect it from evil influences.
The architectural design of Uluwatu Temple is striking, with traditional Balinese elements and intricate stone carvings adorning the temple complex. Visitors can explore the temple grounds, which include several pavilions and courtyards. The main temple is off-limits to non-Balinese visitors, but the stunning cliffside location and sweeping ocean views make a visit to Uluwatu a memorable experience.
Apart from its religious and cultural significance, Uluwatu Temple is renowned for the Kecak dance performances that take place at the adjacent amphitheater during sunset. The Kecak dance, also known as the "monkey dance," is a traditional Balinese dance that retells episodes from the Hindu epic, the Ramayana. Against the backdrop of the setting sun and the crashing waves below, the Kecak dance at Uluwatu creates a captivating and dramatic atmosphere that enchants visitors from around the world.
However, visitors are advised to be cautious of the resident monkeys at the temple, as they are known to be quite mischievous and may attempt to snatch belongings from unsuspecting tourists.
In addition to its cultural and religious significance, Uluwatu Temple's location on the Bukit Peninsula provides stunning views of the Indian Ocean, especially during sunset. The temple's cliffside setting offers a unique vantage point from which to witness the sun dipping below the horizon, casting a golden glow over the ocean and creating a magical, otherworldly ambiance.
Uluwatu Temple is a must-visit destination for travelers to Bali, offering a blend of spirituality, culture, natural beauty, and traditional performing arts that encapsulate the essence of this enchanting island paradise.

Vibes are immaculate here. They have a variety of different seating areas and private pools, hammocks. Food is amazing for a beach bar - the pepperoni pizza with pesto is one of the best I've had (even the crust is superb) and the Bifuteki with mushroom sauce was executed beautifully. The sear was good, flavour and tenderness on point and the mushroom sauce complemented the dish.
Service by the staff was warm and hospitable. Special mention to Lakshmi for her great welcome and for looking after our group.

Where to Eat in Uluwatu, Bali🥞
Uluwatu has a plethora of incredible cafes, restaurants and bars - these were some of my favourites!🍴
photos 1&2: Refresh Coffee Shop - the most amazing coconut pancakes for very reasonable prices (these were 48k)
photo 3: The Loft - amazing cafe vibes, the food was decent (I had fruit salad and the coconut yogurt and granola was delicious, as well as the fresh fruit!) but expensive! (£4.18 for a fruit salad!)
photo 4: Suka Espresso - a vast menu with delicious flavour (I had chilli eggs & Suka’s espesso) - one of my favourites.
photo 5: Lola’s Cantina Mexicana - a cool restaurant/bar with very good options & free nachos to start + the staff are so friendly.
photo 6: Warung Local - one of my favourites. Indonesian food with options to build your own plate, as well as western options like fish and chips - so cheap!
photo 7: Nourish - pretty nice food, I had the oatmeal, but there were more seeds and nuts than actual oatmeal.
photo 8: Single Fin - very beautiful views and the nachos were better than the actual Mexican restaurant that we went to!
