Bali rice terraces
A few years ago, I embarked on an unforgettable trip to #Bali 's iconic rice terraces with two of my closest friends. As we journeyed through the lush landscape, we were struck by the beauty of the verdant fields cascading down the mountainside. The vibrant green hues of the terraces were nothing short of breathtaking, and we were in awe of the intricate irrigation system that has been used to cultivate the rice for generations.
Our days were filled with exploration and adventure, as we hiked through the terraces, stopping to take in the stunning views and capture countless photos along the way. We marveled at the skill and dedication required to maintain the intricate rice paddies, and gained a newfound appreciation for the hard work that goes into producing the staple crop of the Balinese people.

Rice field walk
Ubud rice field walks are some of my favourite things to do in Bali, and the Kajeng rice fields fall into this category.
Basically it is a short to medium distance walk through the rice fields, where you get to see a less touristy and developed side of Ubud. The walk took around 90 mins and that was at a casual pace. I suggest going in morning or dusk as its baking hot during the day time.
Along the way you’ll see the green rice fields, local people working, and lots of coconuts. Its easy to follow as you just need to walk in a straight line more or less.
This is a great way to spend a couple of hours in Ubud. When you are finished you end at PYRAMIDS OF CHI Just get a Grab or Gojek taxi back to wherever you want
