🧏🏻♀️ Revisiting the past to learn new things
It is said that in the late Middle Ages, there was a large market in Paris that specialized in selling old clothes discarded by kings and nobles. However, the old clothes were full of fleas, ticks and other insects, which caused a flea plague. Later, the second-hand dealers moved to Saint-Ouen in the north of Paris to continue selling their goods, and since then it has been called the Flea Market.
💁🏻♀️ Visiting Tips
Flea markets are mostly cash transactions, so it is best to bring small amounts of cash with you to control the cost of laundering and to make it easier for the vendors to give you change.

Spring Stroll at Tynemouth Beach: Sea Breeze and Golden Sands
#springwander
As spring arrives, Tynemouth Beach transforms into a picturesque escape with golden sands, gentle waves, and a refreshing sea breeze. The milder weather makes it perfect for a seaside walk, whether you’re admiring the vast horizon or exploring the historic Tynemouth Priory and Castle overlooking the coastline.
The vibrant Longsands Beach stretches invitingly, a favorite spot for surfers and beachgoers alike. Local cafés and seaside stalls begin to buzz with life, offering fresh seafood, warm drinks, and sweet treats to enjoy by the shore. The iconic King Edward’s Bay is another hidden gem, tucked between rugged cliffs, creating a scenic and peaceful retreat.
A spring visit to Tynemouth Beach is about embracing the fresh coastal air, enjoying the sound of waves, and unwinding in one of England’s most charming seaside towns.

The sea in this small town of Newcastle is really great
Newcastle Tynemouth is a small town. It's great. You can take the subway from the city to buy a day ticket for zone 1+zone 2+zone 3 for just over 5 pounds. It takes half an hour to get to Tynemouth. This is a very beautiful town. When we went there, it was about to sunset. This sunset was really one of the most beautiful sunsets I have seen since I came to the UK. In addition, the town also has a well-known fish and chips restaurant. Although the price of 11 pounds is not cheap, the quantity is large and affordable.

Trip to Tynemouth
My favourite place in the north east! Had a nice winter trip to the beach with surprisingly good weather. Walked from Tynemouth to Whitley bay leisurely, stopping periodically to admire the views. Despite visiting between Storms Isha and Jocelyn we had a lovely time.
