Yanji 3-day 2-night nanny-level guide ✨
For those who are preparing to go to Yanji, take a look! 👇👇👇
Transportation:
🚅High-speed train: Yanji West Station (for those who live nearby)
✈️Plane: Yanji Chaoyangchuan Airport, if there is no direct flight, you can fly to Changchun Longjia Airport first, then buy a train ticket directly: Longjia Station (right next to the airport, about a fifteen-minute walk) - Yanji West, the duration is two and a half hours❗️Note here: Reserve at least half an hour to catch the high-speed train, and if you have checked luggage, it is recommended to reserve more than half an hour
🚕City: Taxi or bus are both fine, with a starting price of 5 yuan, or you can book a ride online; although buses are also fast, they are not easy to wait for (cash payment or Alipay scan is available)
⚠️Walk to the left out of the high-speed train station, there is a taxi area, orderly, just queue up, and it costs about 💰20 to get to Yanji University
Accommodation:
Yanji is not big, and the food is also quite centralized, so it's actually ok to stay anywhere, usually people choose to stay near Yanji University, about one kilometer away from the Water Market and West Market
Check-in spots:
📍Yanji University Internet-famous Wall
No need to say much about this, it's a must-visit spot in Yanji, opposite is Yanji University (now inaccessible). It's more photogenic at night, but not too late, some shops will turn off their lights around eleven o'clock. As for the indispensable check-in coffee cup, there are many coffee shops around, the most economical way is to "pick up" empty cups on the spot or go to Lucky Coffee to buy one~
·
📍Tumen Port
The China-North Korea border, very close to Yanji, 15 minutes by high-speed train or by bus, with more bus services than high-speed trains. You can check in at the national gate, boundary monument, and look over to Nanyang County in North Korea (North Korea's thirteenth largest city). It is recommended to bring your own binoculars and use a camera for photos. Note: There are limited trips back and forth to Yanji, and it gets dark early here, so check in advance~
·
📍Yanji Park
A place where locals hang out, with card playing and exercising in the morning, and inevitably square dancing at night, including Korean ethnic dance~ After dinner, you can go for a stroll.
·
📍Water Market
The local morning market, full of life: all kinds of breakfast, fruits, rice wine, kimchi, vegetables... everything you need, it is recommended to go early, they start packing up around eight o'clock
·
📍West Market
Close to the Water Market, about a ten-minute walk. It is said to be the local wholesale market, with various specialties, clothes, etc., cheaper than the Water Market! Don't ask me how I know😭 And it closes very early, completely locked up by five o'clock, so go early.
·
📍Korean Ethnic Folk Park (🎫27)
If you're not taking photos, it's not recommended to come, because there really isn't much to see, and the shops inside charge extra for taking photos, so you can only check in and take photos outside, I really don't think it's worth the ticket price. If you rent clothes for photos, there are also many options, the cheapest way is to just rent clothes + do a hairstyle, do your own makeup and photography! Like me, I only spent less than a hundred yuan, hahaha~🤭

Tumen One-Day Tour, check out this guide for a trip to this small border town
Tumen is a small border town next to Yanji, just over 10 minutes away by high-speed train.
The main attraction in Tumen is the railway border gate, boundary markers, and you can overlook North Korea from Nanyang Pavilion, feeling the decades of stagnation just across the river.
🚗 How to get there:
Get off at the high-speed train station and queue for a taxi, 100 yuan can charter a car to 1-5 five check-in spots, because we decided to go to the Century Tribe on a whim, we added 160 yuan for a full tour and direct return to Yanji;
📷 How to play:
Follow the route to visit 7 check-in spots:
1️⃣ Railway National Gate
2️⃣ Highway National Gate
3️⃣ No. 86 Boundary Marker
4️⃣ Nanyang Pavilion Observation Deck
5️⃣ Tumen Bridge (admission fee 25 yuan/person)
6️⃣ G331's 1314 Love Boundary Marker
7️⃣ Century Tribe (admission fee 40 yuan/person)
Picture 2: The building complex on the left is China's Tumen, and on the right is North Korea's Nanyang County;
Picture 3: Lucky to see the super mini train that is said to run once a week (zoom in to see);
Picture 4: The windows on the opposite buildings are all sealed with plastic sheets, and most of the roofs are covered with tiles as a 'facade project'.
Picture 5: At the highway port, buy a 'China Tumen Port National Ticket' for 25 yuan, and you can walk onto the Tumen Bridge. Now you can only go as far as the iron gate shown in picture 6. This road was an old road from China to North Korea, which has now been replaced by a new and wider road next to it;
Picture 6: No. 87 Boundary Marker, on the way to Tumen Bridge, avoiding the crowded No. 86 Boundary Marker for photos;
Picture 7: Love Boundary Marker, you will pass by on the way to the Century Tribe;
The Century Tribe has a wooden house over 140 years old, built in 1877. According to research, it is the only existing Chao-style wooden-tile structure in China, representing the architectural style of the Chao people from the Ming and Qing dynasties to the Republic of China. Here you can take a set of photos in Korean ethnic clothing

Check-in at the remote border town Tumen Port
The Tumen Port consists of a road port and a railway port, and is the second largest land port of China to North Korea. It is located on the banks of the Tumen River in Tumen city, with the Namyang International Port of North Korea opposite, 177 kilometers away from Chongjin.
I believe many people know that the most lively nightlife in China is in the southern cities of Changsha and the Sichuan-Chongqing region with Chengdu and Chongqing. However, there is a northern city that from the morning market to the wee hours is full of the hustle and bustle of life, known as the 'Little Seoul' of the Northeast - Yanji. This place is not only the intersection of Northeast Asian and Eurasian cultures but also a culinary paradise for contemporary youth.

There are many photo spots in the temple.

Visit the Quanhe Port, overlook three countries at a glance, and check in at the early market. The market here is good and cheap, with kimchi, spicy sauce, crab, pomfret,
Korean ddeok, Russian chocolate... Don't think it's a small border town, but it's full of life.
The buildings in the city have Chinese, Russian, and Korean signs, and on the streets, you will see many Russian beauties, creating a strong exotic atmosphere!
Ticket 🎫 Quanhe Port: 30 yuan/person, Fangchuan Overlooking Three Countries ticket 78 yuan/person
In the evening, take the high-speed train back to Yanji to continue eating and drinking, and the next day take the high-speed train to Changchun to continue playing. For specific travel strategies, please see the next part
Tips: Taxis are the main way to get around Yanji city, with a starting price of only 5 yuan, which is quite cheap. Yanji hotels are relatively cheap, and it is recommended to stay near the university town. Winter in Yanji is very cold, usually below minus ten degrees, so clothing should be warm. Of course, fashion matching is also important, after all, the streets are full of handsome guys and beautiful girls!l
ExploringVoyager
Just returned from Yanji, a 3-day 2-night nanny-level guide has been coded
This time I went to Harbin and also went to Yanji for two days. I have to say that this small town located at the foot of Changbai Mountain is really romantic. The streets are full of Chinese-Korean bilingual signs, which make people feel as if they are in the streets of Korea. Although it's not big, there are a lot of delicious foods. If you are a foodie, you must come to Yanji!
-
✈️About transportation:
🚘From various places to Yanji: There are fewer direct flights, it is recommended to fly to Changchun and then take the high-speed train to Yanji, or you can take the high-speed train from Harbin for 3.5 hours
🚖In Yanji: The whole place is not big, 🚕 is very cheap
-

It is recommended to live near Yanbian University, the internet celebrity wall is nearby and it is also very close to the water market and the west market, you can walk there
-
📷Travel guide:

This is the local morning market, very lively, not only a variety of breakfast, but also fruits, rice wine, snacks, etc., it is recommended to go early

5️⃣Yanji Folk Park
Of course, when you come to Yanji, you have to be a Yanji Korean princess. There are many Korean-style buildings and cultural elements in the park, but if you don't take pictures, sisters are not recommended to enter the park, because there is really nothing good to visit inside, all for taking pictures
