I didn’t do much, yet the tranquility of the place still lingers in my mind... Morning 📍 Arrival at Hitakatsu Port If you take the morning ferry from Busan, you can start your itinerary right away. Immigration procedures are usually quick. TIP: There aren’t many restaurants or taxis available after arrival, so it’s good to plan ahead. 📍 Korea Observatory (韓国展望所) A small observatory at about 200 meters above sea level, offering a clear view all the way to Busan on sunny days. TIP: You can drive almost to the top, making it an easy visit. 📍 Hinoki Forest (檜の森) Walking through the forest filled with the scent of cypress trees calms the mind and lifts the mood. TIP: Some parts of the trail are uneven, so wear non-slip shoes. --- Lunch 📍 Hitakatsu Town Restaurants Most restaurants have a homely feel and use local ingredients. TIP: Simple dishes like grilled fish set meals, katsudon, or onigiri sets are safe choices. --- Afternoon 📍 Miuda Beach (三宇田浜) A beach with clear waters and fine sand. It’s a swimming spot in summer and a great place for a stroll or relaxation in other seasons. TIP: The sea breeze can be strong, so bring a jacket. 📍 Tsushima Wildlife Conservation Center (対馬野生生物保護センター) A small exhibition center dedicated to the protection and ecological information of the Tsushima leopard cat. TIP: Admission is free, and though small, it’s a good visit for families with kids. 📍 Ueda Castle Ruins (上県城跡) A lesser-known historical site of an old mountain castle. Only traces remain, but it’s a peaceful place for a walk. TIP: If you’re interested in history, researching beforehand can enhance your visit. 📍 Nagisa-no-Yu Onsen Relax and unwind from the day’s fatigue. TIP: Towels are available for rent, but bringing your own is recommended. Tattoos may be restricted. --- Evening & Before Departure 📍 Hitakatsu Port Return to the port with enough time for the evening ferry. Nearby convenience stores or small souvenir shops are good for snacks or gifts. TIP: The duty-free shop at the port is small, so consider it more for reference than expectations.

It is a two-story wooden pension complex built entirely of logs, and above all, it is close to Miuda Beach. The owner is friendly, and the interior is as clean as any other accommodation in Japan.
