Tsuruma Park is a park located in Showa-ku, Nagoya city. Established in the 42nd year of the Meiji period, the park is a harmonious combination of Western and Eastern elements. It was later chosen as one of Japan's top 100 cherry blossom spots. Spring attracts many tourists keen to view the park's flowers. The park has a fountain at the center of its western-style garden amongst flower beds and rose bushes. The butterfly pond lies to the east along with a Japanese-style calamus garden, making it an ideal place for a stroll.
