Tsuna Shiki Tenmangu Shrine
Tsuna Shiki Tenmangu Shrine is located in Chikujo District, Fukuoka Prefecture. It is said that in 901, Sugawara no Michizane took refuge on the coast of Shiida due to a storm while on his way to Dazaifu. At that time, he rested at a place where villagers had laid out fishing nets. This is the origin of Tsuna Shiki Tenmangu Shrine. The pine forest, which is 300-400 years old, beautifully lines the approach to the shrine facing Suo-nada Sea, and the 1,000 plum trees in the courtyard give a sense of tranquility and peace.
