[2025 Rijeka Attraction] Travel Guide for Trsat Castle (Updated Mar)

When visiting Rijeka for a day, we visited the most popular attraction in the city, which was the medieval Trsat Castle. We climbed the Petra Kruzica stairway towards the castle - the climb is over 500 steps, so prepare for a workout. The castle dates back to the 13th century and looks 138-meters over the city of Rijeka on a hill, and we climbed the Roman tower to get a panoramic view. There is a terrace cafe inside and a permanent exhibition about the crypt. #croatia #rijeka
