The price of the accommodation is 1,500 baht per night, including breakfast. But if you want dinner, it's 150 baht per person. There were 3 of us, so it was 1,950 per night, totaling 3,900 baht. The accommodation is right next to the waterfall. You can hear the sound of the waterfall all the time. The temperature during the day is around 20-25 degrees Celsius. At night, it's 1x degrees Celsius, very cold. And the people here are lovely. They act like a family business. From car rentals with drivers, they also have services here. But they are cars of people in the village. They are sedans. The service fee is 1,500 baht with a driver, excluding gas. The driver is also kind. I used their service since the first day I came. He picked me up at the airport, took me to Doi Pui, Doi Suthep, had lunch near Tha Pae, and took me to Cherchiva. The activity I did here was hiking in the morning. I woke up at 5 am and started walking at 6 am. But you have to be tough. Because we had to climb the mountain, I could barely walk. Hahaha. The person who took us on the trek was an old man in the village. He was very cute. He prepared water and food wrapped in banana leaves for us. When we got back to the accommodation in the morning, they served rice soup. It was delicious. Then we walked around the village. Next to it was a place called Baan Ton Mai. The atmosphere here was just as good. So we stopped for lunch here. We could also walk to Wat Mae Mae nearby to pray. When we got back to the accommodation, we used the massage service. The masseuse was a lovely old lady in the village. The service charge was 200 baht per hour. The massage was good. She massaged and chatted with us. She was very cute. When the massage was finished, the same old lady prepared dinner for us. The food was local food. It was delicious. I want you to try it. I really like this place. Tree House Mae Mae Tree House Hideaway I remember a few years ago when I was an intern in Chiang Mai, I came across a picture of a wooden house with a balcony and a fire pit in the middle. The first time I saw it, I was so impressed that I saved the picture. Time passed, and today, out of nowhere, a colleague mentioned this house. At first, I didn't know where it was or what it looked like until he brought me to see it. I was so excited because it was the same house I had saved a picture of during my internship. Getting to the point, I really like the design of this place. Being surrounded by the green nature of the forest, everything seems to fit perfectly. The sound of the waterfall flowing through the stream below complements the atmosphere of the house. Overall, I fell in love with it. I actually wanted to walk around and explore more, but since it is also a place for guests to stay, I didn't want to disturb them with our conversation, which was already quite loud. Haha. As for the coffee review, I initially intended to order an Americano, but I mistakenly wrote Espresso. It turned out to be quite good, with a nice aroma and flavor. The price was very affordable, considering the beautiful atmosphere. It was definitely worth it. This time, I just came to see the place. Next time, if I have the chance to come back, I will stay here to fully immerse myself in the atmosphere. Accidentally found a place to stay that feels like home With Baan Pa Tham Homestay, Mae Mae, Chiang Dao 📍 It was a coincidence during the New Year that I felt very lucky because I couldn't find a place to stay in time. We searched until the evening and accidentally found in the group that Baan Pa Tham had a reservation. So I drove there that evening. I went without any information at all. When I drove there, it was starting to get dark and the road up was quite winding. But when I got there, I was very happy because Baan Pa Tham was waiting to welcome me warmly. Ready to prepare food and provide all the amenities Let me describe the style of the accommodation first. I will say that it is very friendly. It is a homely style house with a kitchen and several bedrooms. Suitable for coming in a group. You have to walk up some stairs because it gives a feeling like being in a tree house. Behind the house, there is a tea garden that Baan Pa Tham grows herself. You can walk around and there are fruits placed for you to taste in every corner of the house. In addition to the cuteness of the aunt, I must say that the food here is very delicious. Including the Assam tea that Baan Pa Tham grows and brews for you to drink, it is still memorable.
