When you actually walk into it, you will find it seems to cross into another time and space. Yes, it is carrying the historical memory of Taipei, and it is also the last place to break the building - treasure rock. Treasure rock has been raging because of the demolition problem. Along the hillside, a large piece of old houses that can be seen here were mostly built during the Japanese occupation. In order to beautify the city, the Taipei City Government in 1980 wanted to demolish this area. However, after the active appeals and efforts of all walks of life, it was possible to preserve the treasure rocks. Treasure rock was listed in the designated historical building list by the municipal government in 2004. In 2010, this area was also planned as the Treasure Rock International Art Village, officially opening the settlement mode of the symbiosis. and this model of symbiosis has attracted the attention of Taiwanese and even global writers and artists. In order to fully revitalize the treasure rock, the relevant departments actively promote cooperation with international art organizations, attracting more than 20 artists from all over the world to enter here every year. First Impressions of Treasure Hill: A Blend of History and Culture Originally, Treasure Hill was a settlement built along the mountain, with the earliest structure being the Treasure Hill Temple built during the Qing Dynasty, dedicated to the Goddess of Mercy.
