Before we knew it, rain was pouring, thunder roared, and we had to shelter under a rocky overhang until the worst passed. The storm made the path slippery and the descent nerve-wracking, but it also made the experience unforgettable. Despite the challenges, standing on a ridge with mist rising from the valleys below felt magical. It was a powerful reminder of the beauty and unpredictability of nature. For travelers, proper preparation is essential. Always check the forecast but be ready for sudden changes in weather—bring waterproof gear, warm layers, and sturdy boots. Start early, as the mountains can be unpredictable. The Făgăraș may test you, but it rewards with unforgettable views and a deep respect for the wild.

Romania has to be the least discovered country ever. Even though , Romania exist in Europe , but very few people know about this country or know of this place as Tourist destination. I have been to many european countries but never ever visited Romania . One of my lovely and close friend is from Romania , so I thought to explore that place . There is no direct flight from China to Romania (OTP Airport) , best option is either Emirates or Turkish , with small layover . Bucharest : Capital of Romania , historical importance , beautiful metropolitan place . Lot of clubs , bars there shall you wish to enjoy night life. As I said it’s City , you can expect it to be full of hustle bustle. Go to places like sigisoara and you can visit places like Vlad the Impaler’s Childhood Home ( not the dracula haha) , the town’s rich history and well-preserved architecture create a captivating atmosphere that transports you back in time. Whether you’re exploring the Citadel Square, wandering through the narrow alleys, or marveling at the fortified walls, there’s an undeniable sense of stepping into a bygone era. Secondly, Sighișoara’s unique blend of cultures and influences, from its German heritage to its Transylvanian roots, creates a melting pot of traditions, gastronomy, and customs that will intrigue and delight you. Transfagarasan highway : this highway got famous after that famous episode of Top gear which was shot here , needless to say , it’s beautiful place. 3 hours drive from Bucharest or 1h30 from Sibiu or Brasov, this 150 km scenic road crossing Fagaras Mountains was built during communist years for military purposes using approx. 6,000 tons of dynamite - and much, much effort. Busteni: Busteni is a picturesque town in the mountains of Romania and a great place to visit. I visited for a day trip from Brasov and had a great time. It’s a popular destination with tourists from the cities and abroad. Busteni has many attractions for visitors, the main ones being Cantacuzino castle, The Cable Car and Caraiman Monastery. In the end , I would like to say Romania has indeed the best picturesque sceneries and would recommend everyone to visit that place, people are beautiful , helpful and their food is mouth watering 😊
