The place was so green that even the water is emerald green (maybe from the seaweed grew underneath) Visited underground caves and ancient temples. Buy ticket at the complex across the waterways and walk underground to the docking boats. 3 trail routes to choose from and best time to visit - early morning or late afternoon when it is not too hot as the whole trip takes 2.5 to 3 hour.

Trang An Vietnam 🇻🇳. The famous boat 🛶 tour .. is located 1 hour from Hanoi . The boat cost about 1m dong . If there is only two person you need to share or u can top up the different and they will sail off . Entrance is 250k need 4 person per boat . The whole slight seeing on the river is about 2 hour and is human roll . So do kind of tips the person that rolling it or you can help to roll it as well . #trangan

A famous attraction, Trang An. Known as “Halong Bay on land”. Local women get to row the boat once every 3 days to earn US$10 to feed their families. It would be nice if the rower can communicate simple English so that she can identify the specific attraction to take note of (eg. King Kong movie location spot). Otherwise, it was relaxing to enjoy the cruise, chatting with your fellow boat travelers (up to 4 pax) and going through a few limestone caves. You can take that relaxing boat tour along the huge mountain formations and through the underground river in 2 hours or more (depending on your chosen route). The most exciting part is bending over to avoid the low-hanging karsts. A bonus feature is passing by the famous Kong Skull Island movie location. This reminds me of the ones in Palawan. If you happen to be in Ninh Binh you have to rent a scooter an drive through the valleys of trang an or get a boat tour on the rivers between the big mountains. The ride is truly magnificent and wort it. It can take up to a full day because this area is huge. In the neighborhood are a lot of restaurants and hotels. Many tourists go there but there is still a large amoint of untouched nature

Getting There - This is the most beautiful valley in Trang an strategically located in proximity to Ninh binh. Located at Ninh Binh, it's a 2hr 30min drive from Hanoi. A popular tourist attraction for both locals and foreigners, this place offers many scenic spots for great photography. The most popular, in my opinion, would be the hut in the middle of the lake. Once your boat ride reached the area, you will see many Vietnamese taking their iconic shots at the location. The staffs are more than familiar in making sure the boat is positioned well for multiple shots. So don't be shy, whip out your camera and take till the perfect shot is taken! I almost lost my arm while rowing,,,, ㅋㅋㅋ The beautiful natural scenery along the river is really great for taking pictures. Looking at the mountains and green rice fields, I felt like I was in another world. It was a fun time listening to the local guide's explanation on the boat, learning about the history and culture of the region, and exploring small islands and caves. However. It's hard to go to the bathroom once you get on the boat, so make sure to go to the bathroom before getting on the boat!!! #FebruaryTravelSupportEvent

Trang An, in the province of Ninh Binh, Vietnam, is one of the most amazing places in the country. It was stage for the movie Kong Scull Island because the mountains around look like big gorillas!! Jump on the boat and relax while you are taken to a circuit full of caves and big lakes, with astonishing views of the mountains around. The only thing is that the place is full of boats… almost impossible to take a picture without one of them in the image.
