During Spring time, there is also a Tulip festival where thousands of tulips were planted and full bloomed during mid of April. There are also a stream where you can take the boat to view the Cherry Blossoms when it is fully bloomed. A very nice place to visit indeed.

#thingstodo Historical site near Toyama City. I am lucky to witness flocks of cranes resting at the tree next to this historical architecture. Serendipity and occasionally you will also hear cranes communicating to one another. This is an unforgettable experience for me as I hardly had this rare opportunity watching these birds not one, but more than 30s, resting on the tree branches. Simply amazing and had it not due to time constraints, I would sit nearby this beautiful place watching the birds and hopefully catch the sunset here as well.
