Walking through the ancient town is like traveling back in time. Every detail reveals the vicissitudes of history and the cultural heritage. It is the birthplace of Guanyin culture and a national AAAA-level tourist attraction. In recent years, Suining has set the strategic goal of 'creating an internationally renowned, domestic first-class tourist leisure and vacation destination'. As Chuanshan, the pilot area for coordinated urban and rural development, has initiated the construction of the Longfeng Ancient Town project. Relying on the natural ecological landscape and the cultural heritage accumulated over a thousand years, Longfeng Ancient Town takes the ancient Western Han Dynasty's Miaozhuang King's City as the cultural context, which is 'a thousand-year-old Xingning ancient capital, an eternal dragon and phoenix romance, a beautiful Miaoshan legend, and an auspicious Guanyin holy land', highlighting the connotation of the ancient town as 'leisurely and comfortable, peaceful and harmonious, festive and auspicious', and striving to create the 'Chinese Guanyin Culture Hometown' as an auspicious blessing sanctuary. It has become Suining's first national 4A-level characteristic tourist ancient town scenic area. Longfeng Ancient Town is different from other ancient towns I have seen in that it strives to shape and develop not the ancient architecture and folk traditions of the ancient town, but three activities: market gathering (called 'market fair' in the north), fishing, and hot spring bathing, and four cultures: dragon and phoenix culture, Guanyin culture, ancient merchant town culture, and folk culture. Unfortunately, I didn't get to participate in any of the three activities, and the four cultures are not something that can be fully experienced in a short time. Longfeng Ancient Town, if you want to see the ancient, you will be greatly disappointed, but if you want to go to the market, fish, bathe in hot springs, and relax, it is just like Liujiang Ancient Town, worth a visit...

A marginalized small city, Suining, the hometown of Guanyin culture in China. There really aren't many tourist spots to visit, unlike other cities that have their unique attractions. But Suining is really suitable for a leisurely stroll, feeling the slow pace. ⛩ Lingquan Scenic Area: Surrounded by mountains, with ancient-style architecture, you can overlook the Suining city area. ⛩ Guangde Scenic Area: Guangde Temple, where the commercial atmosphere is not so strong. Recently, there is a free Hanfu (traditional Chinese clothing) trial event, where you can wear Hanfu and stroll around the temple. 🌊 Shenglian Island to see the sea - Stay at the cheapest Marriott, known as the 'Little Sanya'. In summer, lotuses bloom, and in winter, tulips. You can rent a bicycle to ride around the lake. To go to Shenglian Island, you can take a boat from the pier for free. ⛩ Longfeng Ancient Town: A quiet town by the river. I've written a special article about it before, so I won't say much more. You can plan to soak in the hot springs here, and play the next day. It's quite suitable for a family trip. In the evening, you can also enjoy the night view of Suining, which is really nice. The reflections in the water are intermingled, creating a leisurely atmosphere. 🥢 Food: Sour and spicy noodles, but they have moved their shop and can't be found anymore. After working outside for a few years, I can't find it. Feng Dumplings: Ordered pork and chive dumplings, 2 liang for 10 yuan, a fair price, the taste is average, the dipping sauce is spicy oil, you can add some salt, MSG, and vinegar to taste. Chong Popo: A grandmother who sets up a stall in Dongjia Alley, you must try a 'Chong' for 1.5 yuan. This is a Suining specialty, with a mustard flavor. When I was a child and had a stuffy nose in winter, I would go eat one. Nanxiaoqu Potato Slices: It can be said to be a must-eat when I go back, sweet and spicy taste.
