[Tokyo] The view of Skytree from the free observation deck in Shinjuku was spectacular🏙
Do you know about the observation deck in Shinjuku, Tokyo, where you can see the whole of Tokyo from a height of 202 meters above the ground?
In today's post, we will introduce the "Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building Observation Deck" ☺️
---〖What is the "Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building Observation Deck"?〗---
The "Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building Observation Deck" is an observation deck located on the 45th floor of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building🏢
The top of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building is divided into two, the South Observation Deck and the North Observation Deck!
The elevators are separate, so you need to choose which observation room you want to go to before going up to the observation deck 🤔
This time, I would like to introduce the highlights of each observation room, including their characteristics ✌️
---〖Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building Omoide Piano Designed by Yayoi Kusama🎹〗---
The highlight of the "Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building Observation Deck" is the "Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building Omoide Piano" in the South Observation Deck 🎶
This piano was installed to promote exchanges through music among tourists from overseas, and as a way of welcoming visitors to the Tokyo Metropolitan Government ◎
The design of this piano was also supervised by Yayoi Kusama, and it is a wonderful piano that looks great in photos 👏
Anyone can play this piano, so if you visit, please give it a try ♪♪
Playing times are 10:00~12:00/14:00~16:00, and each person is limited to playing for less than 5 minutes!
---〖If you want to enjoy the view while eating sweets, we recommend the South Observation Deck! 〗---
In the South Observation Deck, there is a restaurant called TOWNGATE CORE TOKYO 都 SEEN!
The recommendation here is ice cream!
This time, I chose the Ramune flavor🍦
The ice cream here is actually unique in that it is served in a wooden box!
Please enjoy this Japanese-style ice cream🇯🇵
---〖If you want to enjoy the view at your leisure, we recommend the North Observation Deck! 〗---
The North Observation Deck is characterized by being less crowded than the South Observation Deck!
When I visited, there were only about half as many people in the North Observatory as there were in the South Observatory 🙋♂️
And from the North Observatory, you can get a good view of the Skytree, so the view is amazing~👀
One thing to note is that the North Observatory closes very early at 5pm 🥺
I recommend going early ✌️
---〖Summary〗---

If you come to Shinjuku for a date, try going a little further! 👍
