Overlooking the dual charm of Tokyo: Shinjuku Metropolitan Government Building and Shibuya SKY observation deck tour 🌇✨
#TokyoItinerary
In bustling Tokyo, a day trip to the Shinjuku Metropolitan Government Observatory and Shibuya "SHIBUYA SKY" gave me a deeper appreciation for the beauty of Tokyo. These two high-altitude viewing points each have their own characteristics, allowing me to immerse myself in the charm and vitality of the city.
Early in the morning, I came to the Shinjuku Metropolitan Government Building Observatory. The observation room on the 45th floor is open to the public free of charge. Standing in front of the large bright windows, the magnificent scenery of the city immediately comes into view. The prosperity of Tokyo is like a beautiful painting, with high-rise buildings and green parks intertwined around it. Watching the endless stream of people, one can't help but feel the pulse and vitality of the city. The sun shines through the glass window onto my face, and I can’t help but exclaim, “This is Tokyo, a city that never stops!”
Next, I headed to "SHIBUYA SKY" in Shibuya. The observation deck here is located on the top of the Scramble Square building, overlooking the entire Tokyo from a height of 229 meters, which gave me an unprecedented shock. Especially at dusk, when the sun sets, the whole city is bathed in golden light, as if everything has stopped. I find the transition between Tokyo's bustling daytime and dazzling nighttime scenes so precious. Standing on the observation deck, my heart was filled with awe and love for this city.
The observation deck during the day provided me with an all-round view, allowing me to appreciate the unique styles of different landmarks, but when night fell, another kind of beauty came along. The lights of Shinjuku and the neon lights of Shibuya appear alternately, giving the entire city a shining coat. This transformation is amazing, and it makes me believe that Tokyo’s charm is equally gorgeous during the day or at night.
This one-day tour is not only a sightseeing experience, but also a spiritual baptism. Whether it is the tranquility and solemnity of Shinjuku or the prosperity and modernity of Shibuya, the feeling that Tokyo gives me is unique. Being in it, I seemed to have a deep connection with every corner of this city, making every moment full of meaning. This trip to the observation deck made me love the diversity and appearance of this city even more. I look forward to coming here again in the future to explore more different stories!
