While strolling around, we were mesmerized by the stunning sights that adorned every corner. Tokyo Camii, the biggest mosque in Japan and a stunning example of architectural beauty in East Asia, evokes the grandeur of Istanbul's magnificent mosques. Its exquisite ornamentation draws inspiration from the rich heritage of Ottoman architecture. Constructed in 2000, this mosque replaced an earlier structure erected by Turkish immigrants in 1938. Architect Muharrem Hilmi Senalp meticulously designed this three-storey masterpiece, incorporating imported materials such as marble from Turkey. Visitors of all faiths are encouraged to explore our premises, while kindly refraining from disrupting or capturing images of individuals engaged in prayer. It is recommended for women to dress modestly and ensure their hair is covered.
