The Kadokawa Musashino Museum is located in a very unique area! This was my first time riding the Musashino Line lol I think it was quite a hot topic when it first opened, but I haven't heard much about it, probably because of its location, so I went to see what it was like! This is the "Belluna Dome", the home stadium of the Saitama Seibu Lions. It is not a completely enclosed facility, there is a space between the ground and the roof, and it looks like the roof is floating. We went to Seibu Amusement Park! We were totally engrossed in the Showa-era retro shopping streets and performances. There was a chase between thieves and police, a banana hawker, and dancing along with Showa-era idols! Unfortunately, it was cloudy on the day I went, but I was able to see several kinds of wild birds. I think it's a good place for running, walking, and bird watching. I'd like to go back on a sunny day. The nearest station is a 15-minute walk from Seibu-Kyōjō-mae Station on the Seibu Sayama Line, but I walked there from Lake Tama.

Zentokuji Temple 2-13-5 Kitanominami, Tokorozawa City, Saitama Prefecture It is said to have been established around 1560 by integrating several uninhabited temples in the area. It is famous as a temple for wintersweet and has been selected as one of the 100 best temples in Tokorozawa. I would like to go back again when the flowers are in full bloom.

Kurosuke's House This old house is located at 1169-1, Mikashima 3-chome, Tokorozawa City, Saitama Prefecture, and is managed by the Totoro Hometown Fund as a base of operations for protecting the forest. In June 2013, the main house, storehouse, and tea factory were registered as national tangible cultural properties. I didn't check before going, so I didn't know that the temporary closure had been extended to prevent the spread of COVID-19 infection, and it was closed (October 2021).
