[2025 Kusatsu Stay] Travel Guide for Tokinoniwa (Updated May)

#HotSpring It's hard to find family baths in Tokyo, so I went to Kusatsu for a day trip to a hot spring. In addition to the large bath and sauna, there are three types of family baths. To use the family baths, you go right up to the bath and use it if it's free. It was Christmas on December 24th, so I thought it would be busy, but there were not many people and all three were free, but when I left, they were all full. There was free coffee in the rest area.

There is a shuttle bus from the nearest Kusatsu Onsen Station & Bus Terminal, and it takes about 5 minutes to arrive🚌 It looks like it would take about 20 minutes to walk from the station! It snows in winter, so I recommend using the shuttle bus! There is a private bath that you can use without making a reservation, and the large public bath also has an open-air bath, bedrock bath, and sauna! I enjoyed myself all day in the building☺️ Yakult is prepared for you after the bath~ Meals are prepared for both dinner and breakfast. What surprised me here was that in addition to the dishes written on the menu, you could choose as many small dishes as you wanted, and you could have as many miso soup, rice, and desserts as you wanted!!
