The Tokinosumika Illumination has become an annual event
Famous as one of the three most impressive illuminations!
The impressive tunnel
changes its theme every year!
The long tunnel
sparkles all the way to the end
and is absolutely thrilling!
Can you believe it's free?!?!?!?! lol
It's definitely photogenic
It seems relatively empty, so it's nice to be able to look around at your own pace.
There are also hot springs, restaurants, and accommodations on the same premises, so you can enjoy it all day!

Gotemba/Toki no Sumika Illumination
#ChristmasTrip
I went to Tokinosumi illuminations in Gotemba Kogen for the second year in a row!
It's a little different from last year, so it's fun😳✨
I especially liked the wisteria trellis-like area in the tunnel, which was beautiful☺️🧡
--------
When you think of Tokinosumi illuminations, you think of the original "Tunnel of Light" that is about 300m long.
This season, the story of the magical cave created by the light fairies who live in "Hikari no Sumika" is expressed through illuminations.
In each area, "SC Alliance Co., Ltd.", which has a long track record in theme parks and commercial facilities, is in charge of the sound production.
In each illumination space, enjoy an immersive experience with the "Story of the Magical Home" woven with sound and light.

The illuminations are also very beautiful!
[Details]
First, Fuji, second, hawk, third, eggplant
This is a proverb from the Tokugawa period, and it is an order of auspicious things to see in your first dream of the year. "Fuji" is the highest mountain in Japan, "hawk" is the majestic king of birds, and "eggplant" is "to produce" or "to make," expressing the way things are created and developed. Another interpretation is that it is related to the province of Suruga (= Shizuoka Prefecture), which was associated with the Tokugawa Shogunate.
