Play with the deer at Todaiji Temple 🦌
Todaiji Temple is the landmark of Nara. It is located at the Nara park where not only you can pray at the temple but also feed and play with the deer! But be careful, some deer are in big size and may scare you 🤣
The buddha in this post’s cover photo is in Daibutsuden hall which is known as the world’s largest wooden building!
The park is quite big so you will need to walk a lot but I think it’s not a problem if you visit here during winter time. #todaiji #nara #narapark

Todai-Ji Temple is a popular landmark which you should visit if you are in Nara. It tis extremely Impressive and considered the worlds largest wooden structure.
It is so convenient that this site was walking distance from the metro station, and also it is close to other places of interest.
The whole visit, including walking around and taking pictures should last between 1 to 2 hours. The temple is really well preserved and is a pleasure to see in person. This place should be a priority in your trip as it’s part of the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites. This place is open everyday from 8am to 5pm.

Nara City in Autumn!!!
Let's start at Nara Station. Just a short walk from the station, you'll see friendly deer greeting you. These deer are mostly found in Nara Park. After taking some photos with them, we continue our journey to Todai-ji Temple. This temple houses the largest Buddha statue (Daibutsu) in Japan, enshrined in the world's largest wooden building. Todai-ji is an ancient temple over 1,200 years old and is also a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site.

🍁 🍂 Momiji Autumn Leaves in Nara!
#fallishere
This temple holds Japan's largest bronze Buddha. It was amazing to see the Buddha and the structure of the temple.
In autumn, we get to see red maple leaves everywhere 🍁
By far the most spectacular Autumn Corridor so far! Absolutely breathtaking!
Amazing park landscape, well-manicured and super clean. We saw friendly free-roaming deers around too.
Lots of souvenirs available at the exit including magnets, shirts, and post cards.
Worth a visit if you are in Nara!
