The bay scenery is stunning, and you can even witness the impressive pearl farming scene. I recommend spending 2-3 hours there. Day 2: Head to Toba Aquarium early in the morning. It boasts a vast array of marine life, and the penguin and dolphin shows are adorable. You can easily spend the entire day here. Day 3: Travel to Kashikojima and take a sightseeing boat tour, admiring the breathtaking scenery along the coastline. This will take about half a day. 🌟 Highlights Ago Bay is an absolute must-visit! Very nice aquarium with a lot of different (sub) tropical species living in and around the waters in that part of the world. They even had some artic inhabitants like walruses, penguins and sea lions. Mostly everything is located within the aquarium itself but there are some outside displays as well. It is a rather big aquarium, however with excellent indications and signs where everything was to be found. Also two large restaurants were available to the public. They also had an amazing souvenir shop. As could be expected a favourite place for families with smaller kids. #2024wish

The Toba Aquarium is divided into twelve exhibition halls according to the type of life and habitat, making it one of the largest aquariums in the world. The Toba Aquarium does not have a designated order of visits, making it exceptionally easy to visit. Time is limited, so we picked a few key exhibition halls to focus on. The sea of mermaid, showing the treasure of the town hall of the bird language aquarium - dugong. It is one of the only four dugongs captured in the world, and the only one in Japan, extremely precious. Therefore, the bird's-eye aquarium's publicity photos, tickets around, etc. have its presence! Black and white dolphins, like the dugongs, are rare marine animals raised by the Toba Aquarium.
