[2025 Senaru Attraction] Travel Guide for Tiu Kelep Waterfall (Updated Apr)

Sendang Gile and Tiu Kelep Waterfall are two incredible waterfalls in the north of Lombok. The waterfalls are located in the town of Senaru, which is the area most people stay in before trekking to Mount. Rinjani. My friends and I stayed in Senaru for one full day before the trek and enjoyed a sunrise over the rice fields and then visited Sendang Gile and Tiu Kelep Waterfall.

I visited the waterfalls on a Sunday and was expecting lots more people but it wasn’t crowded at all and the vibes between people there were just very nice The waterfalls are very nice (don’t recommend going under as rocks can fall but people still went) The walk between the waterfalls can be tricky but nothing intense, you’ll need to walk in the water at some points but also on rocks so maybe solid water shoes are the way to go Water is so refreshing, I would recommend having a t-shirt you’re ok to get wet if you want to swim because I didn’t see anyone in a bikini (although no one would tell you anything or would care)

#indonesiatrip Such a lovely and welcoming place. Beautiful waterfall and nature. Need to walk about 30 minutes more or less to reach here. During my visit, it was raining a little bit, so I couldn't get a good picture. A bit dissappointed but feeling bless to have set foot here. Such a majestic waterfall. Beautiful scenic and refreshing. Highly recommended!
