SINGAPORE’S FIRST GNOCCHI-SPECIALTY PASTA BAR! 🍝🥔
Gnocchi (pronounced as nyo-kee) is a type of pasta dish made of cute miniature potato dumplings, unlike the usual flour and eggs combo. The end product is often heartier and satisfying. 😋 It’s uncommon to find a pasta bar that offers only gnocchi. Well, the talented folks at @tiposg have took on that challenge and opened up Singapore’s first gnocchi-specialty bar! 👏🏻
Occupying what was Tipo Pasta Bar before they moved to Aliwal Street, the interior decor at 𝗧𝗶𝗽𝗼 𝗚𝗻𝗼𝗰𝗰𝗵𝗶 is a lot more simple than their other concepts, with a live counter where you can see the chefs at work, preparing the potato dumplings from scratch. 🥔 The menu comprises of gnocchi (obviously) in many different ways - be it baked, fried or poached. There’s even a 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱-𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿-𝗢𝘄𝗻-𝗚𝗻𝗼𝗰𝗰𝗵𝗶 option where you can choose among various homemade sauces and toppings, such as kombu cream and smoked salmon.
