Tianzifang
Get off at Dapuqiao Station on Metro Line 9, and after about a 5-minute walk, you'll arrive at Tianzifang, a cultural and creative area transformed from Shanghai's Shikumen architecture. Initially, it attracted many people working in the cultural and creative industries because artists like Chen Yifei established studios here. Over time, it has become a complex area filled with food, bars, and various souvenir shops, creating a place rich in cultural and creative vibes.
Strolling through Tianzifang feels like wandering through a small maze, constantly surprised by everything around you. Despite the flashy and eye-catching shops, the upstairs still houses the simple residences of local residents, creating a contrasting beauty of commercial and residential life.
While leisurely enjoying a drink, creative food, and shopping for souvenirs, you can also spend some time visiting a few art studios, adding a touch of artistic flair to your day's sightseeing and making your trip more fulfilling.

5 Days in Shanghai (You might want to miss this one!)
Just back from an unforgettable Shanghai trip! Strolled down the bustling Nanjing Road, then took in the stunning skyline at The Bund. Explored the elegant Wukang Mansion and artsy Tianzifang. Yu Garden offered serene beauty, while City God Temple immersed me in rich culture. Shanghai dazzles at every turn! I would definitely return to this wonderful place at some point in the future. #ShanghaiAdventure #shanghai

One of my favorite places to visit in Shanghai, it is just so picturesque! Nice little shops, well decorated alleys, great snacks around and so perfect for taking pictures!
Pretty from the outside but not much to see inside. It's mostly shops with repeating themes like the rabbit milk candy. Found a cool shop with really cute pins though. You can just take a few pictures and leave, and definitely skippable.

|Tianzifang, a 'petty bourgeois' old alley. Shanghai|Tianzifang, a 'petty bourgeois' old alley. Shanghai Tianzifang is a very 'petty bourgeois' place, where everyone can taste coffee, or evaluate some artworks.
◎There are also many residential houses, be careful not to accidentally break into the residential houses with a literary style.
The alleys inside are crisscrossed, be careful not to get lost. Tianzifang has several entrances.
Transportation: Exit 1 of Dapuqiao Station on Line 9 of the subway, about 200 meters on foot.

Taking small walk during the day in one of the most
historical places in Shanghai. So many tiny cute stores galleries, coffeshops and bars.
It's very colorful and bright with greeneries hugging old buildings. Many shops offer free tasting of candies tea ice cream etc.
If you a tourist in Shanghai-highly recommend to visit this spot and spend few hours walking through the labyrinth of history

Retail cuteness 🥰🥰🥰
What I really like about small shops in Shanghai is the super cute entrance design with main display facing consumers at the doors where you can see the most adorable and beautiful products such as perfume, chocolate, tea, souvenirs etc.
Every store has its own style and never repetitive. All door entrance has its own decoration and unforgettable signage. Like a small universe after each door 🚪 🪐🪄

Tianzifang in Shanghai, magical
Imagine you are in Shanghai. It is Saturday evening, you don’t know where to hang out with your friends, I just have a word: Tianzifang!
This street is very popular in Shanghai to have many bars, restaurants and shops.
Crowded after work, this place is the one where you need to be if you want to have fun and chill with your crew 😎
Located in Tianzifang, you need to find a gate to go through but no big deal.
I do recommend this place guys.
ENJOY 😉

The Famous Shanghai Street - Tianzifang
Address: 210 Taikang Rd, Huangpu, Shanghai, China, 200023
Highlights: The Tianzifang is a very nice market in the old Shanghai Street maze. It is worth going just to get the idea of the old times. The historic buildings are still maintained and most of the place is filled with art galleries. Even though this is one of the main tourist spots in Shanghai and has lot of crowd all through out the day but its still kept well clean and maintained, even the smaller streets around this area. 🤩
Moreover, the shops here are really nice and you can find typical souvenirs with a bit more local flair. However, there is no bargaining here and you can pay with card in most shops. I really enjoy spending time here!😊

🎈 Location: TianziFang, Shanghai
TianziFang is a super nice area to stroll in. There are multiple shops with postcards, accessories, paintings, clothes, little craft shops and snacks kiosks.
Also there are various restaurants, where you can have a bite.
In the middle of the street, around one of the corners there are stairs that lead upstairs, follow the stairs and you will find a way to the roof. It's perfect for taking the photos and just chilling there looking at the buildings .
Also I really liked ome of the shops with earrings there, can't recall the name now, but it was very small and nice.
🎈How to get there: Subway line 9, DaPuQiao station or taxi.
Tianzifang is located at Lane 210, Taikang Road, Huangpu District, Shanghai. It is a national 3A-level scenic spot. Tian Zifang, whose real name is Zhichengfang, is an ancient Chinese painter. Living in this environment, there is an unexpected artistic beauty.

East meets West in Tianzifang

As everyone knows, Shanghai is an international city but Tianzifang embodies the unity of both western and Chinese seamlessly. I’ve been spending a lot of CNY holiday time here recently so it’s about time I’ve shared my thoughts on it.
located in the heart of Shanghai, its historical alleyways of ancient Chinese design are home to a myriad of shops, bars, restaurants and entertainment facilities. Many of which are have English and are clearly tourist friendly.
The Bars in my opinion are the main attraction. You can always find your favourite brand of beverages and alcohol in one the stylish boutique drinking holes. This environment really helps you relax whether you’re traveling, have a night out with friends, taking the edge off after work, which I usually enjoy doing once or twice a week on my own.

As you navigate the maze of alleys on Tianzifang lane, unique shops and art workshops appear before your eyes, ranging from teahouses, open-air restaurants, outdoor coffee shops, galleries, home furnishings, and handicrafts to countless creative studios. Who could ask for more?
Oneonexie.
When you come to Tianzifang, you can live in a hotel in the lane and experience what old Shanghai looks like.
👏🏼Wooden houses crunched and crunched, which makes people feel nostalgic and nervous. And the staircase are too narrow to allow more than one person to pass, and the width of the steps is only within my palm.👣
I walk carefully and try my best to imitate the elegance and manners of Shanghai women. The wooden windows open in the morning, and the neighbours in the old building are already busy in the morning. The window frames out different images of the street outside.🤳

Tian Zifang was originally a small alley in Xuhui District. After being transformed here a few years ago, it has become a well-known landmark in Shanghai.
Many young people like to visit here. Many of the shops here are particularly fun. Especially the Big White Rabbit Toffee Shop. There are especially many people who buy it.

📍Shanghai
I always come to Tianzifang everytime i visit Shanghai. I always like the vibes there. The lights especially. Tianzifang’s architecture is so unique. It is basically inside an alley and there’s an alley inside an alley. So many bars, western restaurant, snacks, unique beverages, souvenirs shops. I always like to come to this type of place (night market i guess?)

I like to have a taste of life, Shanghai Tianzifang, Beijing's Nanluoguxiang. The commercial atmosphere is blowing in the face, and it is exactly the same as Nanluoguxiang. If you don't like Nanluoguxiang, you don't have to come to Tianzifang. There will be fewer people coming in the morning, and more than 10 stores are basically open. If you just want to stroll around, 1 hour is enough. From Tianzifang, you can walk to Xintiandi and Sinan Road. Here you can drink milk tea, send postcards, buy souvenirs, and no one is interested in the history and architecture of Tianzifang.

Suddenly one day, Tianzifang became a new must-have punching point besides the Bund Chenghuang Temple Yuyuan Garden. Just like the Shantang Street in Suzhou and the wide and narrow alley in Chengdu, Tianzifang became a new literary landmark.
Tianzifang was originally a small street in the Dapuqiao area of Shanghai. The typical later commercial transformation, combined with the entry of various artist painters, gathered a creative shop, gallery coffee from an ordinary Shikumen alley. The literary land of the museum. The photo of
literary fan is best for this place. It is recommended to sweep the street in 35, both indoors and outdoors. Of course, wide angle is also a good choice.

Tianzifang: A Creative Corner of Shanghai

Tianzifang is one of Shanghai’s most charming and eclectic neighborhoods, where narrow alleys, traditional Shikumen houses, and modern art collide to create a unique cultural haven. Situated in the heart of the French Concession, this artistic enclave is a favorite among locals and tourists alike for its boutiques, cafes, and art galleries, making it the perfect spot to explore the city's creative side.
A standout in the area is Felix Florist, a beautiful flower shop that’s a feast for the eyes. With its carefully arranged blooms and elegant floral designs, Felix Florist has become a beloved spot for those looking to bring home a piece of Shanghai’s natural beauty. Whether you’re in search of a vibrant bouquet or a rare indoor plant, Felix Florist offers a calming, visually stunning experience in the heart of the city.

Whether you’re sipping on a classic cheese tea or indulging in a fruit-infused option, HeyTea provides a refreshing break from your exploration of Tianzifang’s many delights.

The area has long been a hub for Shanghai’s art scene, and wandering through its galleries will expose you to creative expressions in various forms, from paintings and photography to sculptures and installations. The intimate and often interactive galleries give visitors a chance to engage with the artists and immerse themselves in Shanghai’s cultural landscape.

Tianzifang Street is filled with charming shops and delicious eateries.
Many people visit Tianzifang when they go to Shanghai, right?
I also went to Tianzifang Street to buy some souvenirs, and it was really great! There was even a store that specializes in selling the famous rabbit candy from Shanghai!
Additionally, China has well-developed bike lanes, so many people ride bicycles around!
With plenty of trees, it was a great street to ride a bike around! If you're looking to buy souvenirs or cute trinkets, I highly recommend visiting!

Discovering Shanghai a 2 days Itinerary: A Journey Through Iconic Landmarks
Shanghai, a city that beautifully marries the traditional and the modern, is a treasure trove of iconic landmarks and vibrant neighborhoods waiting to be explored. My recent visit took me through some of the most fascinating sites, each offering a unique glimpse into the city's rich history and dynamic culture. Here’s a look at my unforgettable journey through The Bund, Tian Zi Fang, Zhang Yuan, and 1933 Lao Yang Fang.
Started off with Zhang Yuan, a beautiful garden oasis tucked away in the bustling city. This historic site is a perfect escape from the urban chaos, featuring tranquil ponds, lush greenery, and traditional architecture. As I wandered through the gardens, I felt a sense of peace and relaxation, allowing me to recharge before continuing my exploration.
Next on my itinerary was Tian Zi Fang, an artsy enclave known for its charming narrow alleys filled with unique shops, galleries, and cafes. The vibrant atmosphere was palpable as I strolled through the bustling streets, admiring the creativity that permeated the space. I spent hours browsing handmade crafts and enjoying the local art scene, picking up a few souvenirs along the way.
Ending the night at The Bund, Shanghai’s famous waterfront promenade that offers breathtaking views of the Huangpu River and the futuristic skyline of Pudong. Walking along the promenade, I marveled at the stunning architecture of colonial-era buildings, each telling a story of Shanghai’s storied past. The contrast between the historic facades and the modern skyscrapers, like the Oriental Pearl Tower and Shanghai Tower, is simply mesmerizing, especially in the early morning light.
No visit to Shanghai would be complete without exploring the 1933 Lao Yang Fang, a former slaughterhouse transformed into a creative hub. The building’s unique architecture features a maze-like design, making it an intriguing place to wander. Inside, I found a mix of shops, art installations, and eateries that highlight the innovative spirit of Shanghai.
As I wrapped up my journey through these iconic landmarks, I was left with a profound appreciation for Shanghai’s rich cultural tapestry. Each site I visited offered a different perspective of the city, from its historical roots to its modern innovations. Whether you’re wandering along The Bund, exploring art in Tian Zi Fang, or discovering the creative spaces at 1933 Lao Yang Fang, Shanghai is a city that promises unforgettable experiences at every turn.

The atmosphere of art and unusual Shanghai
📍Address:Dapuqiao metro station, exit 1. As soon as you get off, cross the road (straight ahead) and find any alley. You are there.
Tianzifang is one of the most beautiful and atmospheric art zones in Shanghai.
There are a few workshops and small galleries in this place, but it is mainly a large and atmospheric souvenir market.
The area used to be abandoned factory warehouses. But after Chinese artists Chen Yifei, Er Dongqiang and Huang Yunyu moved into the area and began a flurry of activity, Tianzifang became one of Shanghai's first creative parks.
💡💡:buy everything you like boldly: there are unusual things here that you will not find in other places. prices for souvenirs are fixed and more expensive than other similar places#shanghai #tianzifang
