The area is full of white colour hotels resembling Greek architecture. Relax at the beach. Day 2: Tianya Haijiao - a stunning romantic place. Can be combined with hot springs nearby. Tip: ticket is free but you need to present your passport. Recommendation: take a bus ticket to save the energy for area exploration. Watch the sunset and enjoy street food. Day 3: Nanshan cultural zone Visit Nanshan Temple and Big Buddha Statue (must see!) Tip: the area is very big so be ready to walk a lot or buy a bus ticket. Spend time on a beach: it’s full of entertainment, life music and fireworks. The address is near Sanya Phoenix Airport, just navigate to Tianya Town, we took a taxi from the airport and it cost about 💰30➕ (the airport taxis are a bit more expensive) The taxi fare back to the airport from the scenic spot is 💰20➕ The place is not big, strolling around leisurely for 3⃣ hours is enough, we arrived around 12 o'clock, and then found a restaurant to eat in, it was too hot at noon so we stayed until about 2 o'clock to wander around, and we finished touring the whole place by four o'clock There are quite a few original residents inside, the life atmosphere is quite strong, there are electric cars for rent inside (💰30 yuan/day), but I don't think it's necessary, because you can walk around and take pictures without getting too tired There are three or four famous coffee shops inside, you need to order a cup of coffee to take pictures inside, a cup costs about 💰45, you don't have to go into each one, you can look from the sea side into the inside, go to the coffee shop with the style you like and sit for a while The light here is quite strong so pay attention to sun protection, coconut trees and bougainvillea are quite photogenic I recommend leaving half a day for this place on the return trip to check in, or you can stay nearby for a day to visit West Island and Tianya Haijiao scenic spots, because they are not too far away

Tianya Haijiao is a popular visitor attraction 24 kilometres west of Sanya city, Hainan, China. It‘s a very lovely place where you can walk alonge beautiful and long beachs with interessting rock formations. Nice local tourism vibes and great seaside location. This place has significance to locals since the rocks themselves translate loosely to being the end of the Earth and sea, so newlyweds will often travel here to symbolically travel to the end of the Earth and sea with their new forever love! #sanyatrip

Tianya Bay isn’t a popular spot in Sanya, but it’s surely the most UNDERRATED place there! It was my first time exploring this part of Hainan and I loved it so much ❤️ It’s not as crowded as Dadonghai, Yalong Bay or Houhai and yet so beautiful! It’s close to the airport so you’ll hear and see planes in the sky very frequently, but nevertheless, it isn’t overwhelmingly noisy. Sunset at the beach was magical 🌅 I highly recommend going there! Spend 1/2 a day in one place full of entertainment. What a surprise this park , from beach access to water sports you can do allot of activities. Picture 2 shows you how all the packages available to enjoy a day. 🚘Take a didi to Tianjia -Haijiao , from the airport area 15 minutes. Dadonghai 30 and everything else 45+. 🎫 Tickets: Lets acknowledge that the main center is everything is in two languages. Also the staff some speak some English. We got the park ticket 68 RMB and added 25 RMB for the hop off and on trolley 🚃. * highly recommend. ✔️Included : Free picture by the rock and surfboards. The park is very big , finding food is not an issue and drinks. ☀️What to bring ? Swimsuits , snacks , and whatever else you need. For the most part shops are available but expensive. A little kept secret is west of the Sanya airport, and Across the sea from West Island. Most foreigners call it Greek town. This coastal tourist destination is a century-old fishing town. With a 1-kilometer-long coastline, more than 1,300 distinctive houses, and is home to the rich Sanya fishermen culture. 

Distinctive Greek inspired homestays line the streets, all of which lead directly to the sea. Entering the town, visitors are met with vibrant blue doors and many colors. 🚖 : Getting to this town is easy , but do to its narrow streets you might be left on the main road and walk in. From the center of Dadonghai is about 35 to 45 minutes. Let’s talk food ! You won’t fine Starbucks or McDonald’s, this is a local village so expect seafood and some places with simple western options. One can easily spend the entire day here admiring the beauty of sun, ocean, sand and nature. Tickets are reasonably priced at ¥68\¥81 off peak\peak season respectively) and you can purchase the package at ¥98* which includes a meal, hop on/off battery car ride w/ commentary and souvenir photo. *I suggest arriving early and simply walking around the scenic spot on your own. There are signs and information points in English& Chinese at every turn. There are too many IG worthy spots: bring a power bank and charge your devices as you’ll stop every second to take photos. Tianya Haijiao is +- 12km from Sanya Bay. Easy to get there with a Didi. It's beautiful scenery and a nice walk. I would suggest do Tianya Haijiao an Nanshan on the same day since it's on the same route and there's enough time to do both. Nature is beautiful all around even on your way there in the Didi. Nanshan is a further 17km from Tianya. There are food stalls that you can rest at and have some lunch and something to drink. These places are not overcrowded and a nice way to spend a day around Sanya. #travelguide
