Mingyan Ancient Temple A temple built on a cliff, the hermitage of Hanshan, a Tang Dynasty poet and one of the "Two Immortals of Harmony and Union." The entire ancient temple is nestled in a secluded valley, surrounded by rocky mountains. The valley within the temple has various large rocks, and after rain, a waterfall cascades down from in front of the Guanyin statue, like a dream of a celestial being. Super cool! Tips: The temple is not large, and a leisurely stroll will take about 1 hour. The temple is not well-developed, and is very quiet and ancient. Not recommended for those who prefer lively places. Recommended one-day tour route: Transportation tips for Mingyan Ancient Temple and Hou'an Tourism Scenic Area: 1. Self-driving: First navigate to Hanyan Cave, climb it, then navigate to Mingyan Ancient Temple and then to Hou'an. 2.
