Zhangjiajie Tour
Visited Zhangjiajie - Phoenix Ancient Town - Changsha
I recently traveled to Zhangjiajie, Phoenix Ancient Town, and Changsha in China using Shandong Airlines. This trip was a special experience combining the grandeur of nature and traditional Chinese culture, so I would like to leave a detailed review from a Korean perspective.
1. Shandong Airlines Review
Shandong Airlines provided a relatively stable and comfortable flight. The in-flight service was also faithful to the basics, and the seat spacing was appropriate, so there was no major inconvenience during the long flight. However, it was a bit disappointing that there was a lack of English guidance, which is characteristic of domestic flights in China, but overall, it was a decent flight.
2. Natural scenery of Zhangjiajie
Zhangjiajie boasts a mysterious and magnificent nature that is difficult to express in words. In particular, the rocky cliffs and pillar-shaped mountain peaks seen in the photos feel like the background of the movie 'Avatar'. The scenery of mountains, valleys, and waterfalls was truly spectacular, and it was the best place to heal with the clean air.
The spectacular scenery near Tianmen Mountain is a must-see. The view of Zhangjiajie City and the river from the top of the mountain was a completely different peaceful experience from the hustle and bustle of the city. The coexistence of nature and the city was impressive, and the walking trails and cable cars were well-equipped, making it convenient for traveling.
3. History and culture of Fenghuang Ancient City
Fenghuang Ancient City is a place where traditional Chinese architecture is well preserved, and the night lights were very beautiful. The wooden buildings and delicate decorations of the ancient city showed the beauty of ancient China, and I could feel the old atmosphere while walking through the alleys of the ancient city.
When walking around the ancient city at night, the waterside scenery reflected with lights was fantastic, and there were traditional performances and shops everywhere, so there were many things to see and enjoy. I recommend it as it has a different charm from Korea's Hanok Village.
4. Changsha's cityscape and food
Changsha was a place where modern cities and traditions coexist. The bustling streets and large electronic billboards were impressive, and the lively appearance of the people made me feel the vitality of the city. In particular, the spicy crayfish dish I tasted in Changsha was an unforgettable delicacy. The spicy and full-bodied seasoning went well with the crayfish, and it was perfect for the Korean palate.
5. Harmony between nature and the city
The most impressive thing about this trip was the harmonious coexistence of nature and the city. The magnificent natural scenery of Zhangjiajie, the ancient architecture of Fenghuang Ancient City, and the modern cityscape of Changsha were all combined to create a diverse experience.
In particular, the mysterious mountains of Zhangjiajie, the night view of the ancient city of Fenghuang Ancient City, and the lively streetscape of Changsha each showed their own distinct charms, so there was no time to be bored during the trip.
