Chongqing is really a popular tourist city, and you should be more cautious when traveling to Chongqing during holidays! There are really too many people 😓. We stayed at the See You View Hotel next to Raffles City. The environment and service were good, the price was reasonable, and there was a subway station downstairs. The transportation was very convenient. It was close to Jiefangbei and Hongyadong. You could see Raffles City from the room. It was very comfortable to stay. Book in advance! Hot listings 🙅Attractions not recommended: 1️⃣ Shiba Ti: No need to check in specifically, it is similar to the mountain city trails, but it is heavily commercialized 2️⃣ Baixiangju: This place is a residential building, and it is crowded. If you want to take pictures of the Yangtze River Cableway, you can go to the Kaibu Ruins Park, where there are fewer people and you can take pictures. 3️⃣Liziba: There are a lot of people on the first floor observation deck. Most likely a foodie 6️⃣ Don’t believe those who say they charge you to take the fast track in Hongyadong. You can take the Daijiaxiang Trail on the first floor. 7️⃣Huayipo Rongjie Hotpot is very close to the mountain city trail and the taste is very authentic. Yanghe Village Hotpot under the residential building near Guanyin Bridge is affordable and the dishes are fresh. Lijie Hotpot Headquarters in Jiefangbei is an old hotpot restaurant that has been open for many years. 8️⃣ Be sure to wear a pair of very comfortable shoes when you go to Chongqing. Great place to understand the history of Chongqing and the building of the 3 gorges I would recommend visiting the museum. The museum is quite large so it is impossible to see all the collections in a short time. Moreover, we took part in a tour that had limited time and previously our flight from Jiuzhaigou experienced quite a long delay. Quite interesting, especially with regard to the tribes in the Chongqing area and the Yangtze River. Also the biological life of the Yangtze River. I just learned that in the Yangtze River there once lived giant paddle fish which unfortunately are now extinct. One big warning: most of the exhibits are presented in Chinese only. Be prepared to go watch the movies while it's free admission. The outside, especially the one facing the Great People Hall, which looks like the Temple of Heaven in Beijing, is a popular area for taking photos.
