Teelorsu Waterfall, Umphang District, Tak Province
⛰️ Today, we will take you to visit a waterfall that is renowned as the most beautiful in Thailand and ranks as the 6th largest waterfall in Asia. This place is called 'Teelorsu Waterfall.'
⛰️ Teelorsu Waterfall is located in the Umphang Wildlife Sanctuary, Tak Province. The journey is quite challenging. After arriving at the office, you need to take a car to the camping area, which is about 26 kilometers away and requires a 4×4 vehicle.
⛰️ We visited during the rainy season. The road was muddy and slippery, and sometimes there were fallen trees blocking the way. It is not recommended to drive there yourself; you should use local vehicles, which are available for hire. During the rainy season, the waterfall is full of water and looks very beautiful.
⛰️ After taking a 4x4 vehicle to the camping area, you need to walk another 1.5 kilometers. Along the way, there are streams and lush forests with various plant species, each with a nameplate and description.
⛰️ As you get closer to the waterfall, the sound of the water becomes louder until you reach Teelorsu Waterfall. It is enormous and truly beautiful. Even when we visited and the water was murky, we could still appreciate its beauty. If the water is clear, the waterfall appears white against the mist and the green forest, making the journey worthwhile.
