[2025 Kuala Lumpur Restaurant] Travel Guide for The Whisky Bar (Updated Feb)

#klinsider Well worth a visit if you are not on a tight budget. All meals were perfectly prepared and presented. The beer is ice cold for a hot evening if you are not into Whisky although they have an immense selection of vintage brands. There are 2 adjacent restaurants. One the whisky bar and the other the steak house. Both are well appointed and relaxing. We ate in the whiskey bar where you will be presented with an extensive whisky menu. You'll have to ask for the food menu. There is some outdoor seating on Bukit Bintang for smoking although the recently changed smoking laws are a bit complicated. As I understand if anyone at the table is eating then you are not suppose to smoke. Loosely enforced at best. The tenderloin steak was perfectly cooked and melt in your mouth texture. Halibut was another nice choice along with the spring chicken. Definitely will return on my frequent trips to KL.

loved the concept and the vibe of the place Creating drinks based on their idols. Their cocktails are really good and very unique. I've never tasted any cocktails similar to the cocktails they serve. I really enjoyed it. I love the toast with butter and strawberry jam. Besides, there’s a soft boiled egg. It’s my first time to try an iced latte without sugar. The coffee was good. #wheretogo Was looking for a cozy quiet bar to appreciate some good whiskey. And we found The Whiskey Bar KL, it’s probably the classiest bar on this road. It looks unassuming from the outside but once we entered the bar, we were amazed by the huge and impressive selection of worldwide whiskeys. We had a hard time choosing which whiskeys to go for and decided on their Whiskey Flights which was a great way to get to know what Whisky is all about. They've also got a great selection of samplers and some decent cocktails. This place is highly recommended for the true whiskey connoisseur. #malaysia #timetotravel #barhopping
