💬 notreve: Positives: - Lovely room decor and room layout - Even though my room faces the pool, still get sea views. So, lovely views - Smooth bed linens - Media panel - bedside wireless charger, clock, Bluetooth speaker - spacious toilet with separate shower and toilet cubicle - impressive standalone Kaldewei bathtub - Super comfortable bath robes - Impressive range of channels on tv Negatives - Bed and pillows a tad too soft for my liking - 43 inch tv could be bigger - no Chromecast - no electronic curtains - lack of bedside usb charging option - lifts do not have direct access to ground floor. Need to change lifts at 32nd floor lobby. May be troublesome for some
💬 LUVM: Location was good especially with the opening of the new train station! Just outside the hotel! : ) fantastic views! Please wake up early to go to the pool to see the beautiful sunrise! Room was spacious and comfortable bed. They even aroma lavender mist to help you to sleep better! Thumbs up for that. Venue for afternoom tea and breakfast is great for good views. But breakfast menu could still be improved if i compared it with the other 5* and 6* hotels… the breakfast variety and quality is still far away for a 5* hotel.

The Westin Singapore - Hotel Room

I Recently stayed at The Westin Singapore and I must say, it was a phenomenal experience. Located in the heart of the financial district, the hotel offers stunning views of the city skyline.
The rooms are well appointed with modern amenities and are spotlessly clean. The beds are very comfortable for a restful and refreshed sleep.
The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable.
The hotel has a range of facilities including a well-equipped gymnasium, a refreshing swimming pool and a relaxing spa. The breakfast buffet is top notch with a wide variety of delicious options to choose from.
Overall, I could not fault my stay at The Westin Singapore. If you are looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay in the heart of Singapore, I highly recommend you to book a room at this hotel.

Their lounge is amazing with so many food!
Choices for breakfast, and the evening cocktails was very nice as well.
Above all, I couldn't put emphasis enough on how impressed I was with the staff members, specially for the Lounge staff. They truly go above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable and all my needs are met.
Dining at The Westin is an experience in itself; the array of restaurants on-site cater to every palate, with standout dishes prepared using fresh, quality ingredients. I was particularly impressed by the extensive breakfast buffet at Seasonal Tastes and the delightful cocktails at the lobby lounge.

Great hotel overall and I am very happy with my stay here.
Located in the Marina Bay area it is just by the Singapore's Central Business District, this place is walkable to a lot of place including ChinaTown, The Shoppes At The Marina Bay Sands and Garden's by the Bay. The hotel is located near to MRT and it is very easy to get a taxi.
The service was amazing from all of the staff members starting from the checking in all the way to the room service and upkeep. My room was upgraded into a beautiful suite with 180 degrees of water view and the Marina Bay.

The Westin Singapore, it is located at the downtown station of the MRT blue line. There are many office buildings, and 80% of the guests staying here are business travelers. The traffic is very convenient. It takes five minutes to walk to Lao Pa Sat food court. One stop is the Sands Hotel, where there is also a free water show to watch during night time.
The lobby is on the 32nd floor. The whole ceiling is at least eight meters high. The landscape is open and elegant. The view from the lobby lounge is better, you can see the sea
The room is quite satisfactory, the color scheme is different from the more formal resorts.
The mini bar is empty, there is a capsule coffee machine and instant coffee pods. It is worth mentioning that it is the first time I have encountered a bathtub that is comfortable for me to lay in. Because there is a circular armrest as a headrest, it is very comfortable to lie on. It is also because there is a headrest, so when the head is leaned up, the feet cannot straddle the end of the bathtub
There is a characteristic of the room service in Singapore restaurants, the food will be wrapped with fresh film. Whether it's noodle soup or fried rice, it's still hot when it's brought to the room
Unwrap the fresh film while warming your hands.

Had a wonderful birthday staycation for son. We booked a double twin beds for 4 pax. Was pleasantly surprised that the team prepared a cute plush toy from Jellycat London. Received complimentary birthday cake, chocolate and nuts.
Room was modern and spacious. Heavenly beds are comfortable.
The jacuzzi and steam room are open to all hotel guests. No reservation needed. Was disappointed that young adults under 18 are not allowed to go in.
Swimming pool has this infinity vibe which is very popular for 📸
Tips : Go Lau pa sat for satay.

It is always a great value to use points to stay in an expensive city like Singapore.Though I live here for quite a while, I still think the hotel price here is a bit on high side but due to lack of time,Ive decided to stay at Westin Singapore.
The first impression when I step at the hotel area is amazing. They have like a small lobby + concierge area at the ground floor. It is kind of trend to locate lobby on top floor nowadays plus it give more security for guest. The lobby was elegant and luxurious with unique ceiling feature and amazing lobby lounge area facing the ocean view.

Great place for business meeting, catch up with friends and have a meal with family.
Nice view overlooking the Marina One but I was more attracted by my dessert.
The chocolate n banana cake was a steal !
Awesome 👌 thick and rich chocolate with banana cake at the base 😋
it's a bit sinful with the dark chocolate ice cream but it was too tasty !
We also had the truffles fries and grilled pork !

Peaceful and quiet weekend @ Westin
Booked Westin for a birthday celebration for my husband. Room was ready by 11am and notified via Marriott app. Checked in was fast and upgraded to high floor with lovely view of the port, room ending with xx09. Room is of good size for family of 4 and birthday amenities are ready in room.
Pool, spa and gym no longer requires booking. Pool wasn't crowded during our stay and nice view of the CBD as well as Port.
Service at Seasonal Taste during breakfast was great.
Set breakfast is currently served, limited selection but taste were great.
Highly recommend Westin during weekends if you want a quiet and peaceful environment.

3-night Westin Chilling Hotelux Staycay
Came back for a 3-night staycay because I missed the first world problem of having to think about how to spend the dining credit loot. 🤣
Their Suites are still closed but reservations kindly accommodated my request for the infamous stack 19 - yays! That double panels view still rocks! 🙆♀️
The room remains one of my favorites with its spacious layout, immaculate cleanliness, and but if course those White Tea toiletries. 🥶
With $100 daily dining credit + Hotelux’s usd100, it was once again time to obsess about how and where to spend it. Cook & Brew won in the end, with in-room dining quality rather dire. Also not quite up to mark was breakfast quality - selection have reduced and sadly was not something I find myself wanting to take up early for. 🎭
What was new this time was trying their 60-min Heavenly Massage at Heavenly Spa. Elites get 20% off the list price so that further sweetened the deal. It was sublime and I floated off rather knot-free 🙈
A handful of service issues muddled this stay but prompt and generous service recovery is the key to making guests feel okay - and Westin team did very well in this aspect I must say! ❤️
Now, when will I ever get to stay in the Suite?!

Awesome biz luxury stay at The Westin
Booked a solo staycay at The Westin in mid February, to rest and recover after wrapping up a big work event. It was my first time there, and I really loved the experience. Starting from the check-in process — I was attended to and checked in immediately even though I reached at 12pm. The concierge was very meticulous and friendly in explaining the various facilities and things to note.
The room is huuuuuge, as is the bed. I think mine was the base level room, and they had acceded to my request for a bathtub with a view 🛁 got no complaints about the room itself — while it’s quite business-like, and the wardrobes were ginormous, I felt that the extra space was luxurious. If I *had* to raise a concern, then it’d be that the lighting could be a bit brighter.
The bathroom is definitely the star of the show. Marble flooring throughout, and there is a humongous shower area and a stand-alone bathtub (with a view, as mentioned!). It was my first time doing two bath soaks in a day 🤭 the tub was big and comfortable, and water pressure in the shower was sufficiently strong.
Overall a thoroughly enjoyable stay; it’s a bit out of my usual price range (given that I usually do solo staycays) but I definitely don’t regret it! Hope to be back one day. 🤩

Westin Singapore - lovely pool
#infinitypool
Westin Hotel is located at Asia Square with easy access to Downtown MRT station.
The hotel has a infinity pool with lovely view of the surrounding area (you can catch a glimpse of Marina Bay Sands as well as the cruise ship at the cruise centre in the far distance). There is also a pool side bar which is currently closed due to Covid.
There is also a few jacuzzi seat inside the pool.
In addition, hotel guest get access to the wet lounge (separate by gender) which include a steam room as well as a hot jacuzzi pool. One can relax for a while inside the hot jacuzzi pool and see the Chinatown view from inside the pool. This is also one of the hotter jacuzzi pool among the various Marriott group hotels wet lounge.
Overall, it is a nice place for swimming as well as for chill. We even saw some folks chilling at the pool with their office laptop.

How to book swimming pool timing: I managed to book it via email for my pool reservations
Westin’s pool is at a high level and you can get to see Singapore flyer from the pool. Then again, I feel like you are being seen by many others who are inside their offices. Yes you do get an infinity view but only a certain part of it. There is also a jacuzzi in the pool and it is quite enjoyable too. Some parts of the pool are sheltered.
The pool also has a garden and you also can get amazing views around it. I remembered at times, their pool reservations can be fully booked.
However, the number of people at the pool doesn't add up. So you can try going/calling the pool reception and ask for last minute slots. Else just show up and hope for the best

Got a notification from Westin at 9am, yes, 9am!! that my room was ready, arrived at 10am for check in and was greeted by the friendly staff. After completing SafeEntry formalities, we were ushered into the lift to head up the amazing lobby at level 34 and received at 4pm check out time!
The rooms were clean and modern with an amazing view out to the port with a bathroom facing the city! That was the best view from a bathtub I had.
Breakfast was served in room next morning at 10am and it was good too, delivered warm and on time!
Pool and Gym were super clean and needs to be booked.

Seasonal Tastes Restaurant, The Westin Hotel
Breakast (or more like brunch) was at Seasonal Tastes, located on the same level as the lobby. I love how they included a dining timeslot at 11.30am to 1pm on weekends to cater to us non-morning people.
Foodwise, some were delectable while others were average, but overall I’d say the quality was pretty good. I’d recommend the char kway teow, nasi lemak and smashed avocado on toast (we ordered seconds for these). The french toast and waffles were not too bad as well, in comparison to the others we’ve had at various breakfast buffets so far. There was a friendly waiter going around giving out little bowls of pistachio with rum and raisin ice cream.
Service-wise, my husband wasn’t all too pleased with one staff initially disallowing us from sitting by the window but going ahead to let another couple after us do so. We shared our feedback with another staff, Nui, who remembered us from an earlier interaction (plus points!), and she apologized for the matter while assuring us that she will seat us by the window for our Lobby Lounge reservation later on. Although it didn’t resolve the actual matter, I really appreciated the fact that she listened, acknowledged the issue and offered us an alternative. Excellent service recovery.
My overall rating of the experience: 4 out of 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Cook & Brew Restaurant, The Westin Hotel SG
Cook & Brew restaurant is on level 33 of The Westin Hotel. The restaurant felt like a peculiar furniture collector’s gallery, as we were greeted by an eclectic mishmash of sofas and chairs in various colours and styles. Full-length windows along the outer perimeter let in a ton of natural light as well.
For lunch, we started with a small portion of Norwegian salmon tartare (full-sized portions are also available). Served on a saucer of ice, it tasted so yummy with the great combination of flavours and textures. For our mains, I got the roasted arctic cod while my husband got the black truffle fried chicken, both of which were pretty impressive. The cod was melt-in-your-mouth soft and creamy and had an interesting red sauce that had such depth of flavour. As for the chicken, it was seasoned to perfection! The meat was tender and juicy, except the breast portion (but it was a worthy effort on their part given that it was nowhere near as dried out as most tend to be).
For dinner, we shared a grain fed striploin and a Singapore-style fried bee hoon. Those first few bites of the striploin were heavenly, being wonderfully medium rare and juicy. But subsequently, there were more chewy and fatty parts that made the rest of the eating endeavour a rather unpleasant jaw workout. The fried bee hoon was generally uneventful: The noodles were bland, the lobster was more rubbery than I would’ve liked, but the star of the dish was definitely the sambal chilli.
My overall rating of the experience: 4 out of 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Heavenly Spa By Westin, Singapore
After breakfast and some chill time in the room, I went to check out the Heavenly Spa by Westin. Located on level 35, the spa also includes facilities like the Experience Shower, Whirlpool, Aromatherapy Steam Bath and a relaxation lounge, available to all in-house guests via reservation. It was such a luxurious experience lazing in the warmth of the Whirlpool, which can totally pass off as a mini infinity pool, while basking in the natural light and soaking in the lovely view. Amazing, this has got to be my favourite corner in the hotel to just relax in and contemplate life. The relaxation lounge also boasts incredible views of the city skyline, definitely make your reservations for this indulgence in advance.

The Westin Hotel (Singapore)
We stayed in the Westin Club King Room, which boasted clean lines, sleek furniture and a freestanding bathtub. Alas, the view left much to be desired as it was just a whole lot of buildings. I absolutely loved the housekeeping team’s incredible attention to detail though. On top of immaculate cleaning, all the notes and information sheets were placed in perfect right angles to each other or the table sides – the OCD part of me was deeply satisfied indeed. Another thoughtful touch was the provision of a tiny bottle of aromatherapy lavender balm to help guests sleep better. Its scent was subtle and calming, I just had to bring one home with me.
After returning from dinner, we realized that turndown service was automatically provided, with 2 petite boxes of chocolate, bottles of water and Nespresso capsules replenished. I also received my usual firm pillow quite promptly upon request.
We didn’t manage to book pool slots at the point of our check-in as there were none available by that time. The front desk staff shared that facilities are typically open for booking 48 hours prior to your stay and slots get snapped up really quickly.
My overall rating of the experience: 4 out of 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
